"Sales was excellent, but that’s where it ended. Was told someone would come out for accurate measurements to send to manufacturer. No one ever called. Soon i was charged for the doors to be made but never had official measurements taken and it was like pulling teeth for someone to provide me proof that measurements were taken when no one was home. I was told it happened on 10/31 but I was out of state. So must have broken into my property to do it then? Skip ahead two months, one door shows up to be installed but can’t as it doesn’t fit. Shocking. Three months later all doors arrive for install. First time I touch it the screen falls off my patio door. On the other door the hardware isn’t what I ordered to begin with and there is a dent in the steel paneling. So one of three doors is working out for me. In total, it’s been six months since i signed on the contract and i haven’t so much as received a “hey, we’re sorry this has been awful and we really appreciate your $15,000. How can we make it right?” Instead I have to inquire DAILY with someone from installation scheduling (since this is the only contact I have aside from sales) about when and how management is going to fix it. I went with Champion as for the warranty and quality of work. Never again"

After that Jose spent several days with a helper getting all the taping, mudding and sanding done; then finished with priming upstairs as requested and priming and painting downstairs. Shiplap comes in a variety of price points. The most cost-effective form is plywood, which you can buy in sheets for an average of $30 each. However, shiplap can be a bit more expensive than drywall. If cost is an issue, consider installing shiplap on an accent wall and covering the other three walls with drywall.
In many cases, you may be able to install shiplap over drywall. It’s important to prep the wall before installing shiplap. Typically, contractors locate the wall studs and attach the shiplap boards directly to the existing drywall using construction adhesive or finishing nails. However, pros usually recommend removing the existing drywall to expose the studs for the best results. This allows for a more secure and flush installation.
