"Received a consultation from this company in April 2024 for privacy bushed in back of home. His initial professionalism and salesmanship made me decide to use him for our project. We asked they he order and install 8 Juniper bushes for the project. Project install happened on 5/16/24. During the install, landscapers hit a sprinkler line on one of the tree sights. I understand that this happens and is sometimes part of the gig. When I noticed the damage, after the tree was installed, contacted owner. His response “ did you tell them the sprinkler line was there”. My home has water everywhere, and as a matter of fact we changed some of the location due to sprinkler line location. “ You have to tell my guys where the gas line are, and sprinkler lines”. I’m sorry, but I do not know anyone who has a map of sprinkler lines underground. Having said all of that, he said he could call his sprinkler guy, but could not guarantee his work. I than went on YouTube academy and figured it out for the next three days. Our first Juniper died early June and was replaced on 6/15. On this day, owner claims that the island was saturated with water with the tree he was replacing, and that the tree may not survive. That tree is the only tree flourishing. Currently 7/22/24 Four of the eight trees are dying. Owner has relinquished all responsibility to the grower with whom I have not even meant. Frankly, I do not even know who the grower is at this point. He has stated that I must now be in direct contact with grower. This has been the most unprofessional owner post install of service. He was paid in full and has not been honorable. I would proceed with cation and obtain everything in weighting . He is not trustworthy or honorable."

I asked him to provide an estimate w scope of work, but he never provided this. When i followed up w him, he said they were busy & needed a few more days to provide estimate. They never provided an estimate, given the lack of interest I decided not to follow up a 2nd time. Not sure what the issues were, but given my experience I would not recommend them for landscaping services. Bottom line, I was disappointed in lack of interest & no follow up. Ernie Kulik"

"Kirk was great!! He listened to what my wife and I were saying and responded very well. We wanted old overgrown shrubs to be removed and replaced with shrubs that would not require much upkeep and trimming. He told us about evergreens that have various hues and sizes. He planted seven shrubs, there are three different hues and one shrub that will grow taller. Then put stone down as dressing for the bed. We could not be happier. A neighbor hired him to work on her landscape after she saw his work. Kirk and Rob were great!!!"

"Matt, Neil & the team are fantastic! I took over my aunt's home when she moved to senior living. Being 40 minutes away, I couldn't keep up with her lawn. She had used Lawnman for years, so I asked if they would continue until we sold the house. They didn't miss a beat! They responded quickly and knew who my aunt was (even expressing concern that they noticed her declining health but didn't know who to contact about it. How about that? Lawn care with a personal touch!). The team jumped right in with plans to finish out the summer & adjusted the invoicing to me. When I didn't sell the house over the winter as expected, I contacted them this spring - a little late...I forgot until my own lawn was getting crazy. "We are in our 80’s and decided we needed to make our flower beds smaller and more manageable. At this time, we had at least 15 large beds and they were all full of weeds. Since we could no longer maintain these beds, we started searching for a landscaping company that could take care of all this for us. We went through a website called Angi and found several names to choose from. We selected Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition. The owner of this business is Sean Griffin. Sean responded immediately, gave us an estimate, we accepted, and he went straight to work. Not only did he and his crew do what we paid for (edging, mulching, weeding, planting grass where needed), they went above and beyond (to make everything look good), mulching around our trees, cleaning out an area of our backyard and putting in mulch and gravel, and made our fire pit area very nice. After showing us what he could do, we hired him to clean out an overgrown area along our driveway and he did an exceptional job with that as well. We are very pleased with Ground Breakers Landscaping & Demolition, especially with Sean. He is a very knowledgeable and caring individual who goes above and beyond what is expected of him. We purchased flowers from Sean, at a discount, Everything is just what we expected, and more. We will be having him, and his crew come back monthly to do the upkeep on our gardens."

"Over two months to get house plans. Communication was dismal and the majority of my phone calls and emails were ignored. After I put down my initial deposit. I was ignored for so many weeks, I was beginning to think the company was fake. Draftsman never asked a single question. Not a good look when each round of revisions are charged by the number of changes. My final payment was requested before receiving house plans. Payment was sent and plans were immediately provided despite never having discussed or seen electrical and plumbing, etc. There was an error on the final plans and it took an act of Congress to get it changed. To be fair the final product was excellent but the ulcers I developed over this whole process would make me rethink using Evolution."

Building design services FAQs
In most cities, you’re required to have a building permit in order to construct a pool house on your property. The exact type of permit varies by region—in some areas, it might cost as much as $2,700 to get the necessary permits, while other cities don’t require any permits for structures under 200 square feet.
If you’re building a custom pool house, you can expect the entire process to take two to three months from the design phase to the end of construction, or even as much as a year for very large or complex pool houses. If you’re installing a prefabricated kit or shed, the process is much faster—usually one to three days.
Most pool houses can range from 100 square feet to 800 square feet. Smaller pool houses are about 100 to 150 square feet, while a spacious pool house is at least 300 square feet.
