"Mike and his team did a number of repair items for us as we were preparing our home for sale, including a cabinet repair that looks amazing. They were on-time, efficient and very good at every type of fix we threw at them: tightening deck railings, fixing wall trim, storm door, toilet fixes you name it--they did it and did it well. Highly recommend them for any type of handyman work!"

"We experienced a gas leak in our flex connector to our stove. After PECO came out and shut off our gas I put in a HomeAdvisor request. I received a call from All Seasons that Sunday afternoon and they were out Monday morning by 9:30 am. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He replaced our gas line and went the extra mile to check all our gas lines to make me feel safe. He even gave me some safety tips for added security. I would highly recommend All Seasons!"

"I was very satisfied with the wood staining and wood work by Warren. Their salesman Cliff was very professional and lived up to the work they said they were to perform in my home. The only thing I had a small issue, when they do shiners they should make sure they go over the shiners twice to make sure they're all gone. But overall the service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend to family, friends, neighbors etc."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
