He took before & after pictures (Cory has photos), had a quick, considerate response to all requests and placed shelving back in place clearing the area of tripping hazards. Finally he did an above and beyond job of vacuuming my stairs which was most helpful with my recent hip injuries. The whole job was completed in turn around time and left no mess for me to clean up. "He repaired the siding and painted the entire exterior of the house and stained the deck in less than 5 days. The house looks beautiful now. He gave me a fair price and finished the work on time as he promised. He works and his crew are very polite and professional. Every day he greeted us when he came and notified us when he left and asked our opinion about the color of the paint very early in the process. He paid attention to details and did extra work without charge (power washed the drive way and fixed one of the handrail boards of the deck). We were very traumatized by the previous contractor who did the deck. But with Alex. We felt so much better. I will definitely recommend him with a big A+."

"Howard does very good work and very dependable. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish the job because he was called to another site for inspection. The work was completed by a very nice gentleman but he used my trash can to mix the grout and used it for water to spread the grout. Unfortunately, I had to clean my trash can. He had no tools to hang the new curtain rod. He was informed by Howard what needed to be done the day before. I was given the option for someone to come and hang the rod but since I already had one up, I declined. All in all, I am happy with the work that was done. Kevin always tries to work with me on my projects and gives me the best price. They are professional, competent, knowledgeable, and caring. I highly recommend House Doctors."

He reviewed the proposed work with me, pointing out various aspects of it that aligned with another proposed contractor. He then gave me an official written quote on the spot. It was lower than quotes, and it was for a definite amount, again, not a range. The foreman came by the next day to get the specifics so he could buy the necessary materials, and work commenced that afternoon. The project took three days, slightly under what they anticipated. The team arrived and left on time, and the areas were tidied up each time. They were also professional and friendly. Unfortunately, they discovered something that had not been done during the home’s original renovation, which George and Jim discussed with me. It was beyond what I wanted to do at the time, but we were able to settle on something that they thought would get the job done and I could agree to. They were excellent at explaining various aspects of the job like this, and I felt comfortable with their recommendations. They also accomplished additional two small tasks, one of which I mentioned I needed to do at a future date, and one that they observed. Both were done under the original agreement, which I appreciated. I definitely plan to use Louise August (a family business) for any projects that arise within their areas of expertise because it was a very good experience."
