"The website does not allow me to specify the work completed. I experienced one of the nightmares of home ownership… a leaky roof. John arrived at my home after 8PM as an emergency call. He tarped the area of leakage and returned with his sizable crew at 8AM the next morning. Upon inspection of my home, it was discovered that the chimney was cracked and pulling away due to water leakage. There was also evidence of some water damage inside. Top Rank replaced the roof and chimney. They removed the vinyl siding and everything that was hiding behind it,down to the sheathing. New plywood, Tyvek, and leveling board were placed, and my siding was reattached. I am very appreciative to have found Top Rank Renovations. John was very thorough with every aspect of this job, including keeping me informed and communicating any issues that arose. Thank you John and your terrific crew!"

After struggling with various contractors who either failed to resolve our water issues or were unprofessional, DJ and his team truly stood out. DJ was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive throughout the entire process. Our home is a ranch with 225 linear feet around the perimeter, and while other contractors insisted on installing a French drain for the entire length, DJ recommended a more targeted approach. He didn't bring the requested mortar and silicone color. He threatened to leave if I didn't like it. No repointing as requested in agreement. He failed to show on the first scheduled workday. The workers failed to protect my floor, and when Mik finally arrived after they dragged the rig through my home, they put paper down on my parquet with duck tape that pulled off the finish. I chose Milestone based on all these glowing reviews. No sir!"

Concrete driveways & floors installations FAQs
Think of cement as the glue and concrete as the finished product. Cement is a powdered mix of heated limestone and clay. When you blend that powder with water, sand, and gravel, it hardens into concrete—the strong, durable material used for driveways, patios, and foundations. In other words, every concrete slab contains cement, but cement on its own isn’t strong enough for a driveway.
The price to install an asphalt driveway is $7 to $13 per square foot, slightly less than concrete. However, asphalt requires more maintenance than concrete and does not last as long. Most residential driveways do fine with a four‑inch slab. If you’ll park heavy trucks or RVs, bumping up to six or even eight inches adds strength and wards off cracks. Thicker concrete costs more up front, but it can save you repair bills later by standing up to bigger loads and freeze‑thaw stress.

A concrete driveway is engineered for lasting durability and versatile design options, while an asphalt driveway is more economical initially, yet demands increased maintenance over time.
