"We hired Peter and his crew to tear down an existing porch and to rebuild a new porch with roof and twenty feet of decking. The demolition and disposal were completed in one day and construction began the following morning. The workmanship and professionalism were obvious from day one. From a fairly priced estimate to finish and clean up, Peter was always available with answers to questions along with knowledgeable suggestions when asked. Not only is Peter obviously on top of his profession but also just a real nice guy. I would absolutely recommend Ocean Break Construction to anyone in need of professional work, fairly priced and to be competed in a timely manner, I have every intention of utilizing their services again in the near future."

"Completed on time, and on budget. The entire project went smoothly, and even the couple of things we modified on the fly were worked smoothly into the scope. Dave is great at what he does, and his entire group of supporting contractors is a pleasure to work with. The quality of our kitchen remodel is superb. My wife and I are still struck with how fantastic our kitchen looks."

"Chad was incredible to work with! As a first-time homeowner, he was willing to explain & walk us through the processes. His work is great and he's extremely thorough. We hired him to complete our renovations for our 1890's home including our master bedroom, master bathroom, half-bath/laundry, pantry, and clean up 3 bedrooms. He was quick, communicative, and trustworthy. We definitely recommend and appreciate all of his hard work!"

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
