When I initially spoke with Tom to make the appointment he was willing and able to come out that weekend, but due to my own scheduling conflicts we made the appointment for the following Saturday. He called the night before to confirm when he'd arrive and he showed up exactly when he said he would. I was impressed with the speed with which he and his partner finished the job and the quality of the new surface. It looks great! He also answered my questions very honestly and left me with an info sheet on how to take care of the new surface. I would highly recommend Tom's services. "I found this company on Angie's list and they had pretty good reviews so I gave them a call for a free estimate on carpet for our new addition. Rob showed up as scheduled and was very personable and easy to like. He brought quite a few samples and on 11/25/13 I went ahead and contracted for carpeting and paid 1/2 down in cash. I got a discount for Angie's list, but only by paying cash, he said he could not give a discount if I used a credit card. The carpet was not in stock and it was noted on the contract that install would not be for 7-10 working days. On 12/12/13, Rob was here with the carpeting which was quite heavy commercial grade, very difficult to install with one person doing all the work. He persevered to finish the installation and left about 9:30 PM that night. He did not have anything for a receipt and no paperwork on the warranty on the carpet, but said he would forward it to me. No problems so far.....
Over the last 3 months I have spoken with Rob 2 or 3 times regarding the warranty information AND about purchasing more carpet for an adjoining bedroom. He did come over and measure, gave me a rough estimate and left two sample boards, saying he would return the next week. We also discussed a problem area on the installation (a step up in the bathroom that has staples showing) he said he would take care of it when they installed the bedroom carpet. About 3 weeks later he called and said he couldn't remember where we left off, I refreshed his memory and he said he would be over today 3/28/14, and possibly bring more carpet samples. In the meantime, he would e-mail me the warranty info.  He showed up, but didn't bring any more samples. I asked if I could possibly come to their showroom and he said they didn't have one. I said I never got the warranty emailed to me, he said he was sorry he forgot, but would email it from my driveway before he left. That was 2 hours ago and I haven't received anything so far. I honestly think the only reason he came here today was to get his sample boards back.
If I have any problems with the carpet, I have no idea who manufactured it or who the distributor is, the only contact I have is Lake Carpet & Flooring and my relationship with them is strained at best. Bottom line is, customer service after the sale is not good....no warranty info....never mentioned the problem area in the bathroom...didn't seem interested in any further business with me.

"I knew that Danny was the one I wanted to do my kitchen when he came to give me an estimate. He had great ideas, many options, reasonable pricing and was very personable. Whenever I called him he always returned my calls. Danny and his right hand man, Dominic, make a great team. They both took great care to do everything to perfection. Danny helped me pick out cabinets and flooring. He sent me to wonderful people to pick out granite for the countertops and tile for the backsplash. When I wasn't sure about the tile, Danny even met my husband and I on a Saturday to help us figure it out and select something that we would love. He put in extras like a pull out garbage cabinet, a wonderful cabinet that holds my heavy electric mixes and brings it up to counter level when I need to use it. I have pull out drawers and a two shelf lazy susan to maximize the space in a corner that would otherwise just be wasted. The kitchen has an opening by the sink that looks out into the family room. Danny used matching wood to the cabinets and created a molding, along with a wonderful light fixture, to create a beautiful area that enhances the kitchen. He extended the tile backsplash on either side of the opening and put granite on the bottom. Danny added an island with many pull out shelves, large and small, to give me much more storage. The island is amazing and greatly adds to the kitchen. Dominic is an expert electrician who made sure I had ample outlets and wonderful under the cabinet lighting. Danny is an expert plumber who added a water filter, as well as an instant hot that matches the faucet. Because he is such a good guy, he even fixed a problem in our bathroom that had nothing to do with the kitchen remodeling. Absolute Kitchens and Baths is a first rate company. I will absolutely use them again."

"My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations."

"With the goal of replacing all flooring in the house (including conversion from carpet to hardwood) the company owner provided prompt on-site consultation.  This project needed to be coordinated with a gut and remodel of the kitchen and powder room. Ultimately, we chose to use Teppo's for the entire remodeling job.   Kevin made several visits to the house in the evening, bringing samples of cabinets, counters and flooring.  He coordinated a showroom visit with his favored cabinet and counter supplier, then returned with the kitchen designer twice to check measurements and design ideas.  He was knowledgable and easily addressed concerns about several small details in the remodeling process.  In the process, Kevin did not over-promise or gloss over specifics.  The price quote was in line with four other quotes that we had received but we saved a considerable amount by using Teppo's  family flooring wholesale connections - a savings that we applied towards nicer outfitting of the kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops.  His cabinet and countertop vendor discounts were also substantial.  We are excited to begin the project in the next few weeks.  Kevin is very professional (as are his vendors), listens very well to the customer and incorporates these points into his planning."
