"We needed to remove / replace laminate countertops for our rental house. Mike responded quickly and came to visit us to provide an estimate the next day, arriving exactly on time. Struck an immediate rapport with him! He measured for the project and he provided a very reasonable $ estimate the next day. He picked up the countertop we had purchased for him, and one week later, again exactly on time, our countertops were removed & replaced, fitting perfectly. Tidied up very well after his work was complete. Our project was very "simple", but he showed us photos of other far more intricate and beautifully designed finishing carpentry he has done, truly a craftsman and an artisan. "The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"We needed 12 hurricane proof windows and sling patio door. Interviewed 4 companies, all were good but went with Yeti based on cost, quality, and that his windows were energy star certified. Sure glad we did. Installation, stucco repair, everything went very smoothly. Very professional crew. Great warranty too. Was especially impressed with Bruce, the project manager, and with Jasmine, the office manager, for their professionalism and patience with me and my many questions. Highly recommend."

"We had an unfortunate accident when a car drove into my garage door, through the garage wall and then into the laundry room wall which did significant damage to my home. After the accident we started contacting contractors in the area and we got all kinds of different responses such as , they won't even consider to giving an estimate if insurance companies are involved and if I ask for an estimate I need to sign a guarantee that I will go with the company for the project or they are entitle to charge me a fee just for the estimate. Once I talked to AAA Services Jim put me an ease that they could handle the work and provide an estimate with no strings. The estimate they provided came very close to the estimate from the insurance company so we decided to go with them. The work took about a month and they explained day by day who was coming out, what work was being done and how long it would take which was very much appreciated. After the work was completed the garage, laundry room and Den counter top has never looked better. Thanks to Jim, Allie, Joe and everyone at AAA Services and their sub contractors for getting our home back in working order with minimal disruptions. Scope of work. - Replaced the garage door. - Removed all the debris from the accident. - Rebuilt the wall frames, added new dry wall, textured and painted. - Rebuilt cabinets. - Replaced crack granite counter top. - Replaced the flooring."

"I want to share my experience with Ambry Design for a custom closet. It was a flawless and professional process beginning with the Design Consultant, Dave Cousineau, and ending with the installer, Matthew Ridgeway. When we visited their showroom, Dave was able to complete a design based on the measurements provided so when I left that day I had much more information than I expected on the initial consultation. It was also very helpful that Ambry has a showroom and factory right here in Largo and we were able to see all their products. Best of all , there was no-pressure to buy on the spot. We had an installation date within 2 weeks of the consultation. Matthew Ridgeway completed the installation in about 3 hours. He was ultra-polite, very professional and his work was stellar. We could not have had a more positive experience from beginning to end and the closet is more beautiful than I expected."

"Signed contract 11/12. Permitting request made; permit issued 1/30/2025. Drywall/insulation work begun almost immediately. Spoke on phone with GC just over 2 weeks ago to review time frame for rest of work. GC stated he planned to meet with me and walk through the following week. Stated painting would begin the following week (this would be the week of 2/10). Neither event happened. Also asked about floor tiling job, as I had outside company doing the job & wanted to let that person know when he could plan on the job starting. GC stated 2 weeks out; that would have been this past week. This didn't happen either. I texted GC 2/18 to ask if we could meet at house the next day. No reply. Called cell # 2/19 requesting call back to discuss lack of recent progress. Emailed 2/21 with same request, reminding him that I'm renting a place & am unable to stay indefinitely. Again asking about time frame on project. On 2/22, texted again, asking that he please call me. Each time I've attempted contact, I've asked him to please call me to discuss project & time line. He has not responded to me at all. This is the reason for my complaint. As of now, I feel left in the dark about whatever is happening or not. He is not communicating to me. I feel like he is avoiding contact. At present, I have no idea what his plans are schedule-wise for the project. It feels like my house project is in limbo right now. For more than a week, nothing has been done inside the house, with no explanation as to why. I think the GC has possibly over-extended himself, due to the magnitude of people needing assistance post-hurricanes and therefore may not have much spare time. But he needs to make sure his customers are being taken care of and communicated with."
