"Price quoted was to repair a crack in my basement wall the work done was just a patch. When I questioned the work done I was told the material he covered the crack with was water tight. I was not co comfortable with him nor with the quality of work done. For what I paid, which I thought was high I expect a repair not a cob job with material I could have bought and done myself. I asked if the work was guaranteed and I was told a flat NO. Many red flags and I felt I was being taken and sure enough the first rain the entire length of crack started to seep through and the material used to patch seep down the wall, my basement took on water 3 weeks after it was repaired . I called and when we spoke he was rude about me leaving a message on his home phone vs his cell. The trigger came when he was condescending with â  well this can happen maybe it did not bond no ownership whatsoever for the money he was paid and total failure of the work done. Yes I yelled at him when he would not own it and yes I refused to let him back into my home so he could put another coat on I only wanted my money back which he refused. He took advantage of my lack of understanding but I knew enough to know he did a terrible job and took my money and never looked back. He took zero ownership."

"We had cracks in the dyed mortar of the bricks above our garage. Grady took the time to match the color, even with the color having aged 10 years, and you would not even be able to tell that there was new mortar. If your project is anything like ours, you will not be disappointed."

"Ok so I am writing a review everywhere I can for David and crew. Basically havr been using David and J&D for every aspect of the house! Windows, Doors, Facade wall, Kitchen, Siding etc. Have yet to have any bad experience with these guys!! Wonderful, efficient, courteous, professional, and I cannot say this enough… what a crack up! "Project was said to take 3 weeks but between personal problems with eviction, moving, his crew getting locked up, dental work, no gas, bla-bla-bla, it took extremely longer to get moving. I'm sure u get the idea that project was not completed in a timely manner and should never have been dragged out for months. My recommendation is to make sure you get a time line in writing and add a default clause into the contact to be on the safe side if your decide to use this guy. In my opinion, this business operator took on more than he could handle and failed to deliver. Worst experience I ever had. Phil has terrible time management skills in additional to poor money management problems. Use caution if u decide to deal with him and his wife, Marcella. Business owners should not have their personal problems impacting their clients. That is your bread and butter, after all. Plus the fact that is not professional. They take very little responsibility for there shortcomings. His poor shabby work actually created more problems with leaks due to roofing materials not put down or fastened properly; unbelievable. In addition, the job site was not kept safe and secure with children present all summer; hazards that even involved a close mishap with his own son on a ladder. Consider this experience when considering this business for your job. Just want to warn others before they are faced with similar problems."
