"I had an old refrigerator, microwave and some other things to be removed from my backyard. Robert was the original guy I I contacted. We talked pricing and then arranged a Time for pickup. Vinny was the worker that came out on time I may add he introduced himself and got straight to work it took him about not even 15 minutes to get all the stuff on the trailer. We talked for a bit and he informed me that they were a construction company that also did repairs and to keep them in mind if I ever needed anything which I will I've added them to my contact list. I think Robert and Vinny are phenomenal guys. They were both professional and friendly at the same time. I gave them five stars but that really not enough to describe how they made me feel like a special and valued customer. Melo Floors, Monmouth County NJ hardwood floor installer, is the premier hardwood floor expert in Central New Jersey, providing expertise in hardwood floor installation, precision sanding and refinishing of all finished or unfinished and prefinished hardwood floor varieties.
"The Owner Mauricio was very friendly and accommodating during our initial meeting. He sent one employee to carry over 10 boxes of wood to deliver to my home. He sent one person to do the installation. When I complained to him about the carpet removal on the stairs, he wanted to charge me additionally for what should have been completed initially. The worst part was the installation of the base and border and refinishing of stairs was sloppy and unprofessional. I sent Mauricio pictures of what it looked like. He said he would take care of it. He sent an additional person to assist the installation but it looks terrible. I will have to have it taken out and replaced. For the money I spent I should not have to do this. Mauricio never stepped foot in my house after the initial estimate. He does not have professionals that he hires to work with him."

But, they had to come back a 2nd time to fill in the hole. See pictures. Yes, I was taken advantage of. I paid way too much. The final bill matched the estimate but in retrospect it was too much. Customer service simply stopped once I started challenging the work that was done. I have a large pipe sticking out of my condo that is unsightly. After I asked to have it corrected I was ignored. I would not recommend this company."

However, you don't need to sand if you're recoating or polishing floors without underlying damage.
The best way to maintain hardwood floors is to clean them regularly with a push broom and use a mop with a cloth pad. Only use cleaning products designated for hardwood floors. Otherwise, you could damage them by stripping the finish. To remove tough stains, take steel wool and mineral spirits and buff gently with wax. Finally, you’ll want to install window treatments to ensure sunlight doesn’t discolor your hardwood floors.
