"We just completed a large set of work with Nicolet Renovations which included opening walls and re-supporting these with beams, removing a chimney from above the house down to the basement, and general framing, windows and doors. The team is an exceptionally skilled group of craftsmen. His focus on doing the work correctly and having the knowledge to do so was evident throughout the work. "The company (Black Dog) was hired to expand the bathroom and part of the basement renovation. The project started in October 2020 and it is still going through May 2021 with an unclear restart date after 2 no shows. It was promised to finish by Christmas. The company used 2 different colors of grout in the same room. They are planning to come back and redo it, waiting for 2 months now. They do not want to spend time on fixes. Leakage around the shower was noted, they promised to contact the subcontractor, but I have not heard from them yet. There are minor things missing, would pay attention to their contract as they may not do things like shelves installation as originally discussed. They seemed professional on initial evaluation and at the beginning, but now I am regretting that I hired them."

"We recently had our basemen finished by Lux Renovations using the Owens Corning System. From the start, quotation, planning and completion everything was excellent. Communication when needed efficient and in particular the work crew lead by Cruz - always pleasant, on time knowledgeable and very efficient. Various areas of difficulty (pipe systems, etc.) addressed perfectly. Whoever developed this finishing system had a product development protocol par excellence! All of the way down to picture hanging system to easily removable panels if needed. The work was completed in a timely fashion, all necessary inspections were completed without any negative comment. We are now using this basement regularly and it has become quite the party area. I attach early construction and finished pictures and would be happy to answer any questions."
