We joined a FaceTime to review the site and specs we wanted as we would not be available to meet him at our RV for start of project. He started project on time and his crew was super efficient while building a high quality 11x18 deck with railing and a gate that looks amazing all in one day even working in the rain on a challenging as well as a small worksite. Trip Charges are included in the price per job. I do give FREE estimates on all jobs with the exception of " Insurance Estimate Jobs". For any job that is requiring an estimate for the insurance company. There will be a charge of $25.00 per estimate. IF I am awarded the job, this $25.00 will be deducted off of your final price. Therefore making it a FREE estimate. Unfortunately I've given FREE estimates in the past for these jobs, only to have the homeowner ONLY use me long enough to get the money from the insurance company & I never hear from them again. This is the only way I can see to keep it honest. There are many " handyman" companies out there today, but I believe that one of the things that sets me apart from them, is I have actually been in the industry for over 25yrs. This is not new to me. Also, I believe in 'honesty'. If you ask me to quote you for a job, that I am NOT completely comfortable with, I will be honest & tell you I'm not skilled in that area. But I will be happy to help you find someone who is, & someone you can trust, @ NO Charge to you. I do all the work myself, I'm not an owner that goes out, gives you an estimate & then sends a crew of men to do the job. I do it myself. I rarely have the need to use an outside "subcontractor". If I do have that need, you will know first.

The best pool deck material depends on your needs and preferences. If you’re looking for a low-cost option for an in-ground pool, poured concrete or pavers are a good way to reduce costs. If you want a luxurious look for your above- or in-ground pool deck (and don’t mind regular maintenance), hardwood could be the best option. If you’re looking for the best of both worlds, low-maintenance, durable composite might be the right choice.
For a pool deck of 100 to 300 square feet, expect a professional installation to take at least five to seven days. It may take even longer if you need extensive site prep, hardscaping, or tree removal, or if there are delays in getting a permit. If you’re building a very complex, elevated, or multi-level pool deck, expect the project to take two to four weeks.
The best way to clean most pool decks of grime is with a pressure washer, though you’ll need to research the material of your deck to make sure you don’t damage it. Always pretreat the surface with the proper cleaning agent and test your pressure washer on a small area before cleaning the whole thing.
If you want a proportionate pool deck with lots of room to relax, simply make it the same square footage as your pool. If you instead want a walk-around pool deck, first take the length and width of your pool (e.g., 10’ x 20’), add four feet to each side (i.e., 18’ x 28’), and subtract the area of your pool (10 ’x 20’ = 200 square feet) from the total area (18’ x 28’ = 504 square feet). The resulting number (304 square feet) is the square footage of your walkaround pool deck.
