"This was a very difficult repair because the boiler is located in a hallway closet in center of the house. In order to get to the defective part he had to take the chimney out. He put in a new part and tested it and it worked great - for a couple hours. When I walked back in I noticed that it was cold again. I called him around 8:30 p.m. he came back and checked and determined that the replacement part was defective. He called the company he got it from and went out to get a new replacement. Then had to go thru the whole process again, remove the chimney, take out the defective part put in the newest one, replace the chimney and test. It was completed after midnight. Success."

I initially hired Cellino for a greenhouse HVAC project, based on a positive recommendation and previous great service with a furnace issue. On September 6, Chris came out to assess the job, spending significant time taking measurements and photos, and assured me they had handled similar projects. After weeks of visits and reassurances, we received a quote on September 18. Though it was higher than others, I trusted Cellino based on their professionalism. However, on October 22, over a month later and after multiple assessments, the installation team informed me that the heater they specified was actually overpowered for our greenhouse—news that should have been caught early on. This oversight led to weeks of back-and-forth exchanges, ending with us exchanging the heater for a more suitable model. This delay has cost my business thousands in lost stock due to inadequate heating."

Today (5/23/2024)Precision Heating & Cooling installed the new air conditioner as it needed to wait for the warner weather. Once again, Mike Nichols and his assistant did a top-notch job. Completed it within the estimated time window, very clean job from the furnace to the outside AC unit. Due to Mike's obsession with ensuring any wires, pipes etc he installs are very neatly tied down, he even tied down some long hanging cable wires I was just resting on the hanging ceiling. Heated driveways either heat up with electric coils or from hot water flowing through pipes, coming from your boiler. These electric cables and pipes are generally only a couple of inches under the surface. As they heat, they heat up the thermal mass of the asphalt or concrete, which melts away the snow and ice. They usually run for an extra period after all the snow is melted to dry out the surface and avoid ice accumulation.
Heated driveways will melt off snow at a rate of about two to three inches per hour. The actual rate of melt depends on the temperature you have the heating set at, the type of driveway you have, and the climate you're in. Your driveway will melt much faster in 32 degrees than it will at zero degrees. So expect your results to vary a bit.

This issue arises when the coils or tubes are not installed correctly, resulting in stress on the pavement.
