Adam responded promptly to our quote request, called to get specs and provided a fair and affordable quote. And importantly he worked us in to his schedule to begin within just a few days. We joined a FaceTime to review the site and specs we wanted as we would not be available to meet him at our RV for start of project. He started project on time and his crew was super efficient while building a high quality 11x18 deck with railing and a gate that looks amazing all in one day even working in the rain on a challenging as well as a small worksite. His crew was careful around our RV and respectful of our property. He shared photos with me over the course of the day to show progress which we really appreciated. "Robert did a nice job for a fair price (average price per square foot) on a removal and reinstall of a 20 year old deck on a rental property. Seemed prompt and professional during the bidding process and actual construction. Unfortunately, he broke a window during construction and never mentioned it. Fortunately the tenant let us know. When I reached out to Robert, he seemed apologetic and assured me he would take care of it. When he finished the deck about a week later he informed me the job was complete, and a replacement window was on order. He requested we pay the total minus $500 for the window, which we agreed to. It has been almost a month since we payed, and I have reached out via text and voicemail (just sends the call to voicemail) a few times to get a status update, he wont return calls or texts. I am almost convinced he lied about ordering a window. I am now wondering if he pulled a building permit and/or had the work inspected, I will check with the county and update the review, but I suspect not. Bottom line, Im not sure Id use this guy again, definitely has issues with professionalism. At a minimum, I wouldnt pay for more than materials until I was 100% certain the job and any issues caused by the job were complete before I settled payment, and I would use a credit card or method of payment that is contestable/reversible in case there are issues. (One BBB review on his profile said he took payment for services he never provided.)"
