"7 months and 9 days after this small sail shade project started, we finally found a resolution we could live with- barely. With our salesman and production people, we experienced a lack of communication, delayed response times, broken promises throughout, poor quality, poor planning, poor measuring on our house, or the shades or both, botched workmanship, wrong size, vague or non-existent timelines, missed deadlines, blaming their supplier, blaming each other, sloppy and damaging workmanship, botched repairs, ignored requests. We were very patient, probably too patient- we kept thinking it would get better and they would come through- they didn’t. There were 22 extra holes from moving the anchors around during several attempts to install correctly- then they smeared silicone caulking in and around the still protruding holes and even over the original agreed upon penciled-in anchor marks, maybe in an attempt to hide the marks. In the end I agreed to install the original wrong-sized sail shade myself at a reduced cost. We would rather have a right-sized sail shade reach the original marked anchor locations, but in the end lost all faith in them being able to do anything right on this project. I had to move the anchors again to get it to fit right. Even the owner failed to communicate directly with me. The front desk person was the only one who was responsive and conscientious- the one star is for her."

They completed a demolition of a built in entertainment center and refinished a wall for us. Two days in and out and left everything clean. We are very satisfied and would definitely use them again! "Hurricane Ian destroyed out pool cage and lanai gutters. We tried for two months to get a company to give us an estimate for repairs, to no avail. Then we found Topla, Inc. They called, made an appointment, were on time, came out, and we had a signed contract the 1st week of December for a new cage. They told us then they were booking work out into July, and sure enough, the last week of July they were at the house and started work. The design was to the new code, with panoramic walls. They stripped out the old framing bolted to the cement, installed the new framework with hurricane fasteners, super screening to keep no-see-ums out, new 7” super gutters and two new 42” screen doors. They were meticulous in their work. Everything fit together perfectly - no gaps or bridges between parts. The screening is tight and seamless. They cleaned up everything after the job was done and came back a couple of days later to do some touch up painting where a piece of the framing was scratched in transport. Some of our neighbors had a lot of difficulty with the companies they used- huge delay, incomplete work, repeated return trips to fix issues. We had none of that. And, the price, which included all permit and engineering drawings and fees, was lower than what they paid for their comparably sized (23’x36’x 4’ Mansard roof on top of 9’ walls plus a 9’x12’x9’ extension). Their work passed inspection the first time. The new cage is beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with the work.
