"This landscaping crew is top-notch! They came over every week to mow my lawn, keeping it looking nice and clean. They gave my yard a serious glow-up with their spring cleanup. When it comes to trimming bushes, they're pros. They went around the yard making sure all my bushes were perfectly shaped and looking their best. Weeds didn't stand a chance either. They took care of those pesky invaders and kept my flower beds looking beautiful. They edged the flower beds and added mulch all around - to every flower bed, tree, and bush. It made the whole yard pop! The grand finale was their fall cleanup. They left no leaf behind, making sure my yard was winter-ready. "Marquis Tree Service was great from start to finish on this big job. John Marquis came out to scope the work, calculated the price on the spot, and tagged the trees that needed to be removed. A few trees were within the wetland buffer zone, so John wrote an excellent, detailed letter to our Conservation Commission to get approval for the removal. I had to be out of town the day they were scheduled to take down the 13 tall pines near our house, and I was worried about not being there to deal with issues, but John assured me all would be well. He called me that morning before they started the job, called me during the job to discuss taking down one more tree that hadn't been tagged initially, and confirmed when the work was done. I expected some damage to the lawn or driveway, but when I got home the only evidence that the crews had been there was the missing trees. I've used two other tree services over the past 20 years, and Marquis wins. They have the right equipment for the biggest jobs, the office staff is responsive, the crews work carefully and efficiently, the owner knows his stuff (he holds degrees in forestry and is a certified arborist), and (surprisingly) their price was competitive. I'd trust them with the biggest/trickiest jobs."

"Very professional and efficient. They pruned the tree exactly as I asked. They were quick and polite throughout the work. They were the only ones who gave me a written quote. They also showed up on time for the quote. For the job itself, they were a little late but they explained why (traffic) and Boston is a very traffic loaded area. Totally acceptable as I think they are quite honest. The cost was also quite acceptable when I compared them to the other quotes I received. Hector the estimator was very professional, actually listened and understood what I was saying. I would hire this crew again."
