MENA Concrete was an excellent choice! Tino and Freddy, owners, provided a timely and accurate quote, arrived on time, stayed on schedule and their team was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Once I saw them in action and knew I had a made a solid choice, I approached them about expanding the job. They were so pleasant to deal with and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted by communicating with me through the whole job! Their work was excellent, their experience and skills delivered a wonderful finished patio and sidewalk that we be enjoyed for years. I received a lot of value for a great price! Their work gave me a center piece for my backyard. I highly recommend them to family, friends, and co-workers! He thoroughly walked through everything with me to listen to what I wanted. He came up with better ideas and I went with his ideas. His stamp is very nice, he colored it green to go with our house color, and then my wife wanted gold flakes, so he did it lol. His guys are super nice and clean up after themselves. Funny part is, he did my other home with a driveway widening a few years ago so it was funny to cross paths with him again."

Think of cement as the glue and concrete as the finished product. Cement is a powdered mix of heated limestone and clay. When you blend that powder with water, sand, and gravel, it hardens into concrete—the strong, durable material used for driveways, patios, and foundations. In other words, every concrete slab contains cement, but cement on its own isn’t strong enough for a driveway.
The price to install an asphalt driveway is $7 to $13 per square foot, slightly less than concrete. However, asphalt requires more maintenance than concrete and does not last as long.
