I’ll be actively warning everyone I know to stay far away, and I truly hope this review helps others do the same. A representative from Powers came to my door and said they were doing work in the neighborhood. He offered a free quote on a new roof. I didn’t have time that day, so we scheduled a follow-up for Saturday morning. I assumed it would be straightforward—measure the roof, give me a quote. Oh, how wrong I was. On Saturday, a completely different representative showed up and proceeded to deliver a five-hour sales pitch. I made it clear from the start that I was only looking for a roof quote—but instead, I got a relentless push for add-ons like doors, gutters, and radiant barriers. He brought out props, used aggressive high-pressure tactics, and repeatedly tried to get me to sign on the spot—despite me stating multiple times that I wasn’t making any decisions that day. The entire experience felt deceptive, exhausting, and borderline coercive. I didn’t agree to a five-hour in-home ambush—I just wanted a quote. Power Home Remodeling will waste your time and try to pressure you into overpriced services, and make it extremely difficult to get them to leave, even after you’ve clearly said no."

"Pond Roofing company has an efficient streamlined process. Rep Cameron introduced me to the whole process of roof replacement with a reasonable quote. Cameron gave the comfort of trusting him with the process he detailed. Nataly Caballero, the Repair Department's Production Coordinator was excellent pre-production tasks and kept in touch me about scheduling replacement date. the roofers were punctual, hardworking and excellent. The roof shingles were finished in one day, and after couple days, the gutters were installed. The crew took great care of cleaning the site grounds thoroughly. The Project Manager came and made sure to review the site without any debris. Last but not the least. a member of the Pond team came after two weeks of installation to scan for any nails that may be there. Thank you amazing Pond Team!"

"I highly recommend Javier Cano and RM Banning for many projects - not just roofing. RM Banning was recommended to me by a real estate agent friend to replace the roof on our townhouse. He came out quickly, was professional, and didn't try to upsell us. A piece of siding had blown off in a storm, which he put back on. I asked if we needed to replace the siding and he said just get it cleaned. He also gave us fair quotes and did excellent work on the roof, all the wood trim, and gutters. He kept in constant touch with me while the jobs were going on, and sent pictures along the way. I am working with him now on quotes for a fence repair. I will use him for all projects going forward. "We were looking to increase our attic insulation and met The Home Doctor Company at the Capital Remodel and Garden Show in February 2025 as well as some other companies. We consulted with several companies and decided to go with The Hone Doctor for our attic insulation. The company rep, Chris Lear, was very good explaining what they would do and why our attic needed R-38 insulation. I knew we needed more but did not realize our attic was only R-13. I have worked with numerous contractors before on projects and felt this was a really good company plus they have great reviews. The installation of the attic insulation went very well. They do install siding as well but decided to put this project off for now. Would highly recommend this company."
