"Additionally, he was suppose to get rid of an overgrowth of weeds on the side of the lawn. He told me when he tried to excavate the weeds he came across an underground pipe which the town had installed. He was afraid that he may cause damage to the pipe , so he said instead of excavating the weeds he would come back and spray weed killer on that area. He has yet to come back and spray that area down. After he installed the lawn, it was pretty much bare. I notice that there was an uneven surface in the lawn that was not properly filled out with topsoil. As a result, water began to settle (stagnant ) on the property whenever it rains. I reached out to the provider, I sent him a photo of what the area looked like. He promise to come back and add more topsoil, he has not been back and now that area is growing moss. I took another photo and send it to the provider explaining to him that it has caused damage on the property , again he told me he would take care of it. Additionally , there are bald spots in the lawn and also an overgrowth of weeds. Again, I brought this to the provider's attention. First he stated he would come back to do a weed and feed. When he did not show up I tried calling him he has not responded or returned my phone call. I texted him letting him know that I was looking forward to him coming over to take care of the issues with my lawn and I haven't seen or heard from him. He texted me back saying he shouldn't have to come back to fix my lawn, since I should have been watering the lawn everyday. My responds was , clearly it is not a watering issue since the lawn is green and full in some areas , while other areas are bald. Initially when we signed the contract he agreed to coming back and re-seed if there were any bald spots."

A standard landscape curbing job requires between 180 and 300 square feet of curbing material. Still, contacting a local landscape edging service is always best to ensure you get the correct amount. Guesswork could cost you more than necessary and lead to financial and literal headaches if you have to correct errors later on.
Once your landscaper has prepped the area, it takes less than an hour for them to pour a concrete curb. Including preparation, most curbing installation jobs take no more than one full day to complete. Be sure to get a duration estimate from your landscaping professional if you’re on a tight timeline.
Concrete edging lasts 10 to 30 years with the proper care. Local climate, soil movement, and the quality of surface maintenance all play a role in its lifespan. Keep an eye out for cracks, seal them promptly, and clean the curb line each season to prevent staining. A landscaping pro can recommend long-term care steps to help your edging stay strong and attractive for decades.
No-dig edging, such as steel edging with push-in spikes, stands as the easiest method to install. It comes in long spans or rolls and pushes firmly into the ground, significantly reducing installation time. This method minimizes labor and guarantees secure, efficient placement, resulting in a flawless finish with minimal effort.
Choosing the right landscape edging material depends on your home’s style, maintenance preference, and overall budget. Materials such as concrete, brick, and granite offer exceptional durability and longevity, while wood provides a distinctive, rustic appeal but requires more upkeep. Evaluate lifespan, aesthetic value, installation ease, and upkeep requirements to select the best option for your property.
The optimal time to install landscape curbing is during mild weather conditions when the soil is neither frozen nor overly wet. Proper weather ensures flawless curing and efficient installation. Scheduling your project during a favorable season can enhance its durability and performance. Adhering to seasonal guidelines guarantees a secure installation and impressive curb appeal.
