They drilled the holes all around the walls and across the floor at specific locations and slowly brought leveled the floor with expanding foam. Concrete piers were positioned in place so the foundation could never move and cause cracks. Very proud of the job they did and it has been a money making rental unit for me. "Great! I purchased this home in June of 2018, from MN, and had a different contractor hired to do all of the above, as of the day I closed, July 9. I was planning on moving in mid August. July 3 I found out the contractor I thought I had hired would not be able to do the job. I called Chris the morning of July 4. He met with my realtor at the house and took the job. Of course he was not able to start right away, but he had all the work completed by and I was able to move by mid September. I literally do not know what I would have done without him - I had called three other local contractors, and even tried Buildzoom and no one returned my calls. He was professional, communicative and the work that he did on my home is beautiful. Some examples are new construction, general remodeling, kitchen and bath remodeling, basement remodeling, porches, fences, concrete, roofs, siding, gutters, and also handyman services. We pride ourselves on being able to take any job from start to finish, as we like to call it "Turn-Key" and minimize any unexpected hassle the customer may have ahead of them.
"Our initial quote included what items we were responsible for purchasing; however, at the conclusion of the job we were provided with a bill for additional materials (that added up to >1k). We asked for breakdown of additional supplies and were given three different final amounts. The quote should have stated owner will be responsible for purchasing all materials needed for the job. We brought these concerns up to Jason and he never apologized and made zero concessions. We were charged >1k in additional labor. We expected a slight increase because of subfloor issues; however, Jason also cited our choice of tile (subway tile for our shower). In addition, these additional charges were never discussed (as their contract states they would be). Installers did not clean the tile after completing the job and per Jason that was not included because we were going to paint the room. Makes zero sense and certainly wasn't turn-key. Positives- Installer noticed a manufacturers defect with the tub that resulted in us needing to order a new tub. Installer also came back to address issues we noticed within the 30 day timeframe."

Sump pump or interior foundation drains installations FAQs
Most 1/3 to 1/2-horsepower sump pumps use 1,300 to 2,900 watts to start up. Then, they use 800 to 1,050 watts to continue running until the reservoir is empty.
To find the right sump pump size, dig out your 18-inch-wide reservoir and observe the water accumulation on a rainy day. Start with an empty reservoir and watch the rainfall for one full minute. Measure the depth of the rainwater in inches and multiply by 60 to find the total number of gallons that build up. Multiply that number by 1.5 for a bit of wiggle room. If it’s more than 35 gallons per minute, get a 3/4-horsepower unit. Otherwise, 1/3 to 1/2-horsepower models will work.
If your sump pump is making a lot of noise, it may be time for a replacement. Other signs that your sump pump may be damaged include sump pump odors, a spike in your utility bills, or excessive pump vibrations.
You don’t necessarily need a plumber to install a sump pump. You may want to hire a handyperson or a specialized sump pump repair pro to handle the replacement or installation.
Not every basement needs a sump pump. You only need a sump pump if your basement floods during light to heavy rain. If you notice basement condensation instead, you might need basic waterproofing services.
