When using composite materials, we will give you the best advice we can to help you make the right choice for your deck. We do not push any particular brand of material on you just to help us. We ran into some zoning issues, which I later learned are typical in DC, and which AMdeck didn't mention before stating a potential completion date. As a result, they suggested we use a "postcard" permit, which is an illegal way of showing a fake in the window, so that our neighbors would be less likely to request a work shutdown. We didn't want to do that, requested the drawings and applications from the owners so that we could do it the legit way. They ignored us until we let them know we wanted to end our contract with them. They then charged us $2K."
