In our home, they missed a leaking condensation line during the service that eventually led to water damage in two neighboring rooms (the water went into the walls and underneath the floors) and thousands of dollars in damage. In our business, they keep changing what is wrong with the unit and coming up with temporary fixes, all the while charging us more and more."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!! On August 1st, 2024, I had Lee’s Air, Plumbing, Heating & Roofing come out to inspect my HVAC system. After examining the system, the technician informed me there was a short in the system but was unable to locate it or determine how to fix it. He recommended replacing the entire HVAC system and called his supervisor (Francisco Ramos) to confirm his assessment. The supervisor echoed the same conclusion and provided a quote for their cheapest system at $22,000. As a recipient of financial aid, affording $22,000 was out of the question, even with a payment plan, which would have cost around $200 a month. Despite our financial constraints, the supervisor offered no alternatives and promised to email the quote along with pictures he took in our attic. While we received the quote, the pictures were never sent. We decided to take matters into our own hands. The supervisor mentioned a potentially fried circuit board, but we suspected it might be a blown fuse. After purchasing a pack of fuses for $7 at Home Depot, we replaced the fuse, and our AC started working immediately. It is incredibly disheartening to realize that what was purported to be a $22,000 problem was actually resolved with a $3 fuse. Being charged $99 for a service call only to be pressured into purchasing a new system feels like a scam. We were without AC for three weeks, enduring triple-digit heat with only free-standing units to keep us cool. This experience left us feeling deceived and taken advantage of, particularly as a low-income household. We are extremely angry and intend to report this incident to the BBB. I have seen numerous similar complaints about Lee’s Air, Plumbing, Heating & Roofing, indicating a pattern of trying to sell new units instead of repairing existing ones. This practice is unethical and unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone in need of HVAC repair to seek other companies who genuinely aim to repair your unit instead of pushing for expensive replacements. Lee’s Air, Plumbing, Heating & Roofing has lost a loyal customer due to their shady business practices. Save your $99 and avoid this company at all costs."

"Would give zero stars if possible! Larry Hoang at first presented himself as an honest, reasonable man and contractor but his actions have proven this very wrong. We have two major roof leaks that will cost us thousands of dollars to fix - caused by deficient solar panel installation. He refuses to repair them, despite three independent reports from other local licensed contractors indicating the roof damage was *directly* caused by the solar panel installation. We am currently filing a formal complaint with the California State Contractors Licensing Board in an effort to get him to respond, as we cannot even get our roof fixed until he agrees to remove the panels. We hired him specifically because we wanted to support local businesses - but we sincerely regret this decision. Buyer BEWARE! This is not an honorable businessman - nor business!"
