We do inspections, sweeps, tuck-pointing, cap sales and installation, and all other repairs to fireplaces, chimneys and wood-stoves. We also have a specialty retail store with wood, pellet and gas stoves, Weber, Big Green Egg, Primo and Traeger BBQ Grills. We also special order Telescope Casual patio furniture to enhance your home living experience. We perform inspections for real estate transactions that can include camera inspections of the interior of chimneys. We install and service stainless steel liners for wood-stoves, fireplaces, furnaces and water heaters. Our certifications allow us to inspect anyone's installations and make necessary corrections following NFPA 211 standards and the International Residential Code. Our inspections are based on these documents as well as manufacturers installation instructions. Reports to homeowners include any visible deviations from industry safety standards. We also have a large number of supply sources for replacement parts for most currently manufactured hearth products. Some older equipment no longer have parts availability. We were assigned another salesperson who seemed disinterested in seeing the project through. All three of the sliding doors wilke sent out had issues. I first informed wilke of the issues 08/07/17. They came out a few months later and fixed two of the three doors. I called them and told them that they forgot to fix the sliding door in our master bedroom and that the door in our living room had broken again. They sent someone out a second time (a few months later) but it was with the wrong parts. It is now 02/23/18 and they still have not fixed the two doors that have been broken for over 6 months. They blame the delay on not being able to get the parts but in reality, they did not even order the correct parts until we escalated the issue to upper management. We are now waiting for the parts to come in and wilke to hopefully fix the sliding doors. But they are estimating that to be in March. I went with wilke because of their claim of customer service. I will never go back again and I hope anyone reading this does their homework."
