It’s worth noting that the lumber company—not Minuteman—delivered some boxes of the wrong color wood. Steve was extremely responsive, ensured the mistake was corrected, and made sure it did not delay the project. To me, that is the mark of a great contractor. The team even repaired our bathroom subfloor, which was outside the scope of the project. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and we truly appreciate the team’s dedication to the project. Not only was I expecting him to refinish my hardwood floors, I was asking him to come in and work miracles to repair the damage done by another contractor who had a damaged machine created wavy distortions to my floors. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone in need of hardwood flooring installation or refinishing."

He refinished some existing wood floors, matched and installed new hardwood floors, and his uncle installed some luxury vinyl tile in the bathroom. He did such a wonderful job that we also hired him at our own newly purchased house to refinish existing and install new hardwood, and again his uncle installed tile in our entry. "My wife, I and daughter removed everything from the basement into the adjoining garage with the exception of empty heavy furniture and cabinets. The installer moved these items around himself. The job required laying down a leveling compound to smooth the surface in one room that took about one half a day. Overall the job took a total of two days to install about 500 square feet of flooring. The installer cleaned up and replaced the heavy items in the original locations. He did a great job and was very friendly."
