Panel upgrades, Electrical service
"One of the best contractor experiences. Kevin came out to give me a quote to install a ceiling fan and a chandelier. After meeting with him and getting his quote I added 2 more fans and 5 can lights. While he was working he would stop to verify and communicate what he was doing. I've worked in interior design for 15 years. Kevin made suggestions on placement that were spot on. At the end of the day he was installing 2 matching ceiling fans. The manufacturer had sent wall controls and there was an issue getting both in because of my home's structure. I told Kevin it was OK and I would order a remote. When Kevin called me back to see the finished product he'd fit both controls in! He could've quit that would've been fine, but he wanted to make me completely happy. So he kept working until it was done the way I really wanted. He went that extra mile. I will be hiring him again."

"My husband and I recently hired All Phase Electric to put in new landscape lighting outside, lights on the exterior of our garage, hang a new light fixture and new light fixtures in our office. Our experience with Clem, who is the owner of All Phase Electric was absolutely seamless. Clem absolutely puts the customer first. Anything that needed to be done or had questions he was right there. Also very fair on pricing! Clem absolutely aims to please. Our exterior is all lit up and it is absolutely beautiful. 100% would recommend! Thank you, Clem."

"Quinn responded quickly, offered a competitive price, and he is appropriately licensed and bonded. He had zero hesitation in providing me his license number for verification. He communicated promptly and answered all my questions about his experience and business. He is personable and professional. He completed the removal of a product recall ceiling fan that had 210 reports of the fan blade ejecting. In my case, the fan blade snapped off while in motion and it damaged our wall but thankfully it did not cause my daughter physical injury because she was under the fan when it happened. Quinn quickly disassembled and removed the old fan, built the new fan from the box, and installed the new fan in the expected time without issue. He is clearly an expert. He even went above and beyond to offer disposal of the packaging materials and defective recalled fan. I highly recommend his services."

"Ross is very responsive and professional. I had my panel upgraded/replaced along with installation of an exterior light fixture. He handled all permitting with the city, complied with inspections and brought the panel up to code with the installation of a new ground wire. The work was done within the agreed timeline and budget. I will definitely call him again for any electrical needs."

"I hired Nathan for a 600 square foot room addition. His quote was on the lower side of the spectrum and I did extensive due diligence. The results were great so I hired him. Whenever I called he answered the phone. He was respectful and professional. A number of promises were extended throughout the job and he fulfilled every one of them on the timeline promised. Every decision that I made he checked with me enough times to insure my desired was achieved. When it was not he did it over again. There were a number of changes and as long as it did not require a lot of extra time there were no additional charges. When I asked for extensive extras to be done his charges were more than fair. His work was top notch and clean. Obviously, I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Nathan and his crew. Yesterday he and a helper spent the whole day doing a job running 100 feet of wire, hooking up five fountains with timers, two more times to control two more lighting systems, installation of three dimmers inside my house, and troubleshooting two 12. Volt landscape lights. The quote from another contractor for just the wires and fountains was $2,000. Nathan did the whole job for $700! I am 67 years old and have managed many projects overs the years for myself and others. Hands down it doesnâ t get any better than Nathan. And to top it off he has a great sense of humor."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
