Even though it isn't something that they'd normally do, they recognized that they could take a grass that is not their proprietary product, however using their proprietary expertise, and make chicken salad out of chicken s#*t! As I said, the finished product was fantastic, however just as good as the work was, the people are even better. From the initial call to their customer reception, owner, project manager, and to the crew, everyone was professional, attentive, and truly cared about what they were doing every step of the way. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane."

"Owner showed up with a small crew and a crazy new piece of equipment. Excavated down below my foundation and to the septic tank. Came into the basement and jackhammered the floor. Removed all the old terracotta pipe inside and out. Installed all new PVC pipe all the way down to the septic tank. Put gravel down to protect the new pipe. Poured concrete in the basement to close the floor back up. Only took one day to get the new pipe in. Came back the next to close the ground and floor up. Great experience, basement no longer smell like sewage."
