"I hired Baker's Waterproofing when a recent plumber found a leak possibly in my foundation and recommended them to me. Baker's initial inspection uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was leaking water from the hill behind my home as well as groundwater from below. They scheduled the work and sent out Victor and Miguel to complete a full waterproofing, French drain, pump installation and backup system. From start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to was extremely professional, everything was explained clearly and concisely, and pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work completed. "Collins Paving did a new asphalt driveway June 2022 for $15,000. The install it was a major headache. Jerry complained entire time- about me, my driveway, the job, even his crew's work ethic. That fall of 2022 the driveway developed ponding in three large areas. I left emails, phone messages and never got a response. On May 5, 2023, I contacted them to seal the driveway (per their instructions at install). They responded right away. When they came out to seal, July 16, 2023, I explained the problem and was told to 'call the office'. I called weekly for 2 months. Finally, on September 9 Jerry and Steve came over and were quite confrontational with me. It was very uncomfortable, but I bit my tongue because I wanted it addressed. In the end, they both acknowledged the issues and recommended I have them address it in the spring and give 'one more winter'. I started calling & emailing in late March 2024. I finally got an appt in August. I waited all day until 4pm, made several calls the 'office' (no one answered). When I called the following week to inquire about my appt., Shauna said that Jerry and Steve came over and no one was home. Not true. Since then, I've called again and again and it's the same response from Shauna. "I'll let them know'. When i ask when I can expect a follow up, I'm told, 'I'm not sure, they are on other jobs'. I've kept track of how many times I've called and its over 30 times. They have no interest in talking to me. Shauna answers the phone and takes another message. At this point, less that 3 years after install, my driveway is sinking, cracks are forming, and I am forced to get resolution through 3rd parties. All I wanted was help figuring this out and I was hoping we could work this out together but I’m being ignored. I would avoid Collins Paving. There is so much more I could share."

"I am so happy that my neighbor referred G&J Waterproofing to me! My basement had so much rain water coming in that I had sand bags in one of the rooms to help soak up the water and I still needed to use a mop in other areas! Harry came the next day to meet with me after I called them and went over everything that needed to be done! If I didn’t understand something, Harry took the time to explain it to me! I really appreciated that! And all the workers were GREAT! G&J really have a great group of guys working for them! They were always willing to answer any questions I had! There was a nice downpour of rain the other day and I didn’t have a drop of water in my basement, so I have G&J to thank for that! "English Lane is fantastic. No-nonsense... gets done what they say they will, on time, at or under the price they quote, and the results are beautiful. I'm willing to pay for that. I had another contractor quote half, charge me in the end double (and what EL had quoted originally), and get it done months later then they claimed. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane."

"Mike and his crew did an AMAZING job on my patio. He was efficient, timely, and paid attention to the smallest details. For example, he had to take down part of the fence to get the machines to the backyard. Knowing I had a dog, he made sure to put up a temporary fence at the end of each day so that I didn't have to take the dog out on a leash. The quality of the patio is 10/10. Gorgeous. I could not recommend Mike more!"
