"A raccoon intruded in the attic of a house and Trapper John was contacted for emergency service as a family was living in the home. Although the issue was eventually resolved I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND due to my experience with the team from contact to the technicians. What went wrong: 1. Not sure if he still works there, but, my primary phone contact was Scott. He was rude a few times throughout the days it took to resolve this issue. 2. I believe due to the nature of their work commonly being emergency services they are able to overcharge especially by offering a price on the spot during the consultation. 3. Technician and phone contact assured me the issue would be resolved within 24 hours and the issue persisted for over 72 hours with me having to continually follow up for updates on their plan to resolve this issue. 4. The technician did not properly secure a hole he had to open in the ceiling of the house to remove baby raccoons and endangered a family living there when one fell through into the living room. 5. Terrible recommendations knowing a family was living in the home: After having difficulties capturing them, a suggestion was made to "leave baby raccoons in the attic to die and let the house air out", a suggestion was made to cut a hole in the roof at 8:30pm on a Sunday with no plan/ability repair it immediately. 6. Part of the service was replacing soffit vents for prevention and when I stopped by the house after service was complete several vents around the house had not been replaced and I had to contact Trapper John to have the technician return and replace those. Overall the job was done and I was given a year long warranty on the raccoon removal and soffit vent replacement. Fortunately, the issue did not reoccur however I would not recommend this company if you find yourself in a similar situation. FYI: A day after posting my review on another platform, I was contacted by a woman at Trapper John and offered a partial refund only if I agreed to remove my review. I refused as I believe it's UNETHICAL and potential customers deserve honest and authentic reviews for the services they pay for. So I will post my honest experience on all platforms I am able."

I take pride in my work, both in it's functionality and it's appearance. I treat people with respect, this is represented on the job and the prices I offer, and my 10-Year Service Warranty. If you have any issue over the next 10 years with your gutter system, I will come out and fix it. Other services: - Remove and haul away existing gutter systems. - Service existing gutter systems, including removing clogs, resealing miters, and most other issues you are having. "I've been using PTPC for a few years now and plan to continue their service at our new home. They are very helpful and will answer any questions you may have while they're working. There is the yearly treatment ($325 I think?) and then the quarterly throughout the year ($60.00) I did a lot of research on services and companies in the area and I can't say enough good things about them. On a side note about termite inspections for selling/buying a house...no one has to be home unless it's specifically ordered by the owner of the property that they do."

Bee removals FAQs
Swarms of bees stay for just a few hours, but can remain for two or three days. Under the right conditions, beehives can last indefinitely, as bee colonies are self-sustaining. The queen is the heart of the hive and can live for up to five years. As she ages and her egg production declines, the worker bees replace her by raising a new queen.
Worker bees live up to six months if born in the fall, but only about 40 days when born in the spring or summer. Drones live between three weeks and three months. The queen continuously lays eggs that quickly mature to replace bees that die. Ask your beekeeper or pest control specialist for further details based on the type of bees you have.
Ideally, you should remove a bee's nest very early in the morning or late in the evening when all of the bees are in the hive.
Bees do not fly at night, so although they may buzz and show some activity, they will not fly or swarm. This allows you to remove the entire colony safely in one attempt. While bees may be slightly more active in the early morning or late evening, most will be in the hive, minimizing the number of stragglers left behind.
After complete bee removal, stray workers will not regroup if all traces of honey, comb, and pheromones are thoroughly eliminated. Professional removal procedures seal access points and remove every residue that could attract bees, ensuring the area remains bee‐free. Follow-up inspections confirm that prevention measures are effective, so your home remains secure against any re-infestation.
