"Calin & his team did amazing work! They refinished our "not so old" oak floors on our first floor, and our 2nd floor original hard wood thin plank oak floors. We removed carpet that the prior homeowners installed over the original stained wood. All of the stains were able to be sanded out. Calin suggested a few different darker stains, and we love the finished product. He updated our stairwell by painting the vertical planks white, and made great suggestions to us throughout the project."

They were able to repair/replace some of my wood boards & fill in some damaged boards. They were able to match the floor coloring in conjoining rooms. "Alex and the team were absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the entire project. Our project was rather large it that it included 1.) weaving in new hardwood flooring into an existing hardwood floor in two places 2.) sanding the entire lower level 3.) sanding the stairs and 4.) sanding our upstairs hallway. We also replaced our stair newel posts and balusters, where Alex and his crew prepared the area and coordinated well with the separate master carpenter crew that performed the stair installation. Alex and his crew were also fantastic working through our stain preferences including stain type (DuraSeal) stain color, sealer (Bona Intense) and clear coat (Bona Traffic HD). The house literally looks brand new and we could not be more pleased. We interviewed 4 different contractors and chose KALS given we were able to actually inspect some previous work they had completed and were appropriately priced for the fantastic work they performed."

"In addition to the installation of a light, they also installed a medicine cabinet. Both needed some additional work- installation of a junction box and hole needed in a plastered wall; filling in of extra space around medicine cabinet rough opening. They also replaced some wood trim around a large tool shed. Job came out great. They were professional and conscientious to take care within my home. Tom and Mike did a very nice job."
