"Moncy was awesome. He came to the house and showed me samples of carpet only a couple hours after I requested a quote. He walked me through the process was patient and very professional. He was early the day of install and waiting for the installers before they got here. He stayed the whole time of install and made sure everything was to my satisfaction before he left with the crew. Would definitely recommend him to family and friends and would use him again myself."

"Very highly recommended. Creative Design & Build and his team have been a pleasure to work with, very responsive, available, honest, and easy to communicate with. They have done beautiful work on every aspect of a multi-faceted project, from flooring to doors and casings, closet, wall removal, kitchen installation and tiling. We never felt like we were in this process of renovation alone. Above and beyond."

"Ivan is FIRST CLASS! He responded immediately and came out the next day for a little roof patchwork. CHECK THIS - he said, "Why don't you come up there with me? I can show you how to do it so YOU DON'T HAVE TO HIRE SOMEBODY NEXT TIME." You don't find people like this often, so thank you, Ivan!"

Remodels, Addition to Existing Structure
"We hired sonart a Construction for a bathroom addition! Their staff was more than helpful and their crew was beyond experienced! They were actually able to finish this project a lot quicker than expected. Definitely gave me a piece of mine that I didnâ t have to worry about where the crew was are getting in contact with the office. I have dealt with some pretty sketchy construction companies and contractors in the past grateful that this wasnâ t the case here!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
