"Aurelio was pretty quick to respond and based on the reviews I read the common sentiment was that it is expensive but he does a great job. Since I was in a rush to do the project before moving in and he seemed trustworthy I hired him. As far as the meeting the promised timeline they definitely delivered. However, they relied on my inexperience and first lied to me, then did a lousy job on top of that. The job was to install hardwood floors on the second floor and to match it to the first floor that already had hardwood floors. On the first day of the job he called me and told me that he has "good news" supposedly he was sent wrong flooring material, but because the supplier made a mistake even though it is better (wider than what I already have) he is not charging us more. He gave me 5 minutes to decide on what I want to do. Given I was at the time 1.5 hours away after some thinking I agreed. But the trick was that he told me on the phone that instead of 2 1/4 they sent 3 1/4, however my floors were actually 4 inch wide, so in essence it was actually a worse choice, when I actually saw what 2 1/4 looks like at my friends place I was convinced that he made a mistake, sure enough the next day when I visited the house he still innocently pretended that mine were narrower and faked a super convincing surprised face when he realized that already installed floors are wider. I was so naive that I actually believed him, however you actually have to walk through first floor to go to the second floor and what kind of a professional could even for a moment not realize that they made a mistake, one look is enough, so he lied to me. I later realized that this was probably a much cheaper option or he had it already from a previous job, these are speculations of course but I am sure he lied, or honestly they are all just bunch of amateurs because even I could not make that mistake. To be entirely honest he gave me a $500 discount, I didn't ask or negotiate he just offered it to me, I guess he was afraid that I would make them redo it since they were caught. In any case I agreed but the dishonestly of it still stinks .... I am mad at myself for being so naive ... Secondly, they installed marble in my bathrooms, and when I pointed out some scratches I was called a "perfectionist", and honestly I don't know why I should not have high expectations given the price they asked and the fact that I didn't even negotiate. He then told me that he will send someone to fix it can be sanded off, and now I regret agreeing to that, you would think they know what they are doing, but obviously not, I can see the sanded part very vividly now, if anything they just made it much worse.... To top this all of, a few weeks later my cat throws up on the hardwood floors and it stains. When I talked to him he said that it is possible that the poly was not good, they will come and check and if I want a better quality poly if I pay a bit extra they can do it. They came sanded a bit that part applied a new poly to test, and I can still see the difference between the old and the new, the same Satin looks so much worse on a poor quality part ... they promised to come and fix it, although gave me bunch of stories how they do things for people and then if they scratch something people complain. The whole thing was so stressful and I was so hurt and disappointed that they would use crappy staff just to save $100 in a project that cost me 13K that I never contacted them back, I never wanted to see them again ... I figured that they will screw something up if they come to fix it and then represent it as them doing me a favor and me still complaining ... I am not even talking about them matching the stain color ... bottom line the easiest directive of matching 2 floors somehow didn't go that well and now I just have to be very careful with the cat and deal with crappy floors. Again to represent everything fairly I think they did a decent job laying the floors, it is just they were cheap and greedy ... honestly even though they should have used the best material if they told me I need to pay $100 extra to use the best poly I would, and he knew that I would, I never questioned any expense they had to do for the tiles, so he was very well aware that I will not spare expense on it to get the best results, but alas ... If you ever hire them I would encourage you to ask what they are using, check all the material they are buying and do not trust them to have your best interests in mind. "Do not hire these people. We hired them to clean and paint a house which we just purchased. There was a gigantic miscommunication between the work we were told they would do, and then what they actually did. At the first meeting, a very detailed list of everything was taken, and then nothing on this list was done, and we constantly had to remind them of the things they said they would do. For example, we were very clear that we wanted everything removed from the walls throughout the house before painting (a normal thing that should be done before painting), and they agreed, and then halfway through the job they send pictures, and nothing was removed from the walls. This then required them to go back and remove everything, and then touch up every spot they missed, adding several days to the overall job, and resulting in uneven paint spots on all the walls. In addition, they communicated with us that they don’t get paint on things like door hinges and windows and sent us pictures of the prior paint in places were paint shouldn’t be. Yet, when we moved in, they got paint on literally everything in the house. When I saw them painting, they did not use any painters tape or painters’ tarp throughout the whole house. We sill have paint drops on all the floors throughout the house, on the carpet, light fixtures, door knobs, etc. They even painted the windows shut in multiple rooms and painted the bathroom sealing fan shut, when they could have easily dropped the fan, and painted just the ceiling above it. I spent hours removing paint and freeing open the windows. In addition, while we were told they would clean the whole house, top to bottom, whole rooms were not cleaned, as previously agreed upon, and per the contract. In addition, the whole project was estimated to take two weeks, with the understanding that they might need another day or two if necessary. Baring a supposed family emergency, it took them a total of four weeks to complete the project. Twice the length they said it would take. In addition, the quality of work they did was just incredibly poor. With very little attention to detail or care in their work. They said they would spackle all hole and repair things, and this was barely done. The sheet rock they installed doesn’t align with the floor, walls, and electrical outlets. We were also told that they would “take care” of the whole basement, which apparently only meant painting and sheet rock, not replacing the ceiling and carpet, which we were told they would repair for us. Again, a giant miscommunication between what we were told they would do, and what they ended up doing. They also recommended someone to come and replace the baseboard heaters throughout the house. When this person came, he accidentally cut himself while working, and then proceeded to get blood all throughout the house and on the newly painted walls and newly cleaned carpets and floors. It was a complete disaster. They also informed me that this person, who they recommended, has been caught previously drinking alcohol on the job, so why they still recommended this person is beyond me. At the point they were all done, according to what they felt they needed to do, Ed said he’d come back to do a final walk through with us and give us some additional trim which Ed said he’d pick up for us and install. We gave him money for the trim, and then we never heard from him again. He has never responded to us and has since ghosted us. So just to be clear, he stole money from us. In addition, him never returning resulted in him leaving all sorts of supplies, debris, and trash inside and outside of our house, which we needed to clean up. He also left a several hundred-dollar ladder which I guess is ours now? He just left it here and never showed up again. I see some of his replies on this website, and please be aware that he might reply to lie and try to downplay all of this. But this is 100% true and accurate to the level of work that Ed and his team did. Do not work with these company under any circumstances."
