"Fernando is a wonderful man. He came right away to repair my porches. He was quick, efficient and did a great job. My porches were very old and the wood was rotting. As I said, he is awesome and very reasonable with the price. I will call him again!"

"I hired Steve to tear out my bathtub and remove the shower surround that was there. I asked for a walk in shower with a threshold. Despite some bumps along the way - I could not be more pleased with the result. The shower came out beautiful. An exhaust fan was also installed. I also had Steve tear down an existing 10x10 wood porch that had 2 stairways and a gate and replace with composite and vinyl. The porch is exactly what I envisioned. It looks great. Steve and his team were polite and respectful. They put up with my 3 barking dogs, who sometimes got in their way and cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve to friends and family. If I need more things done around the house, he will be the first one I call."

"Rick White at Bradford construction really delivered for us in replacing an old sliding glass door in our new home. We'd placed an order for a new door with a big box store. After several weeks, it arrived damaged and we decided to seek new options. We found Bradford Construction on Angi and could not be more satisfied. Rick sourced a new door for us within a similar price range and kept us up-to-date and informed throughout the process.. Honest, professional, on-time and the team did a great installation job. We plan on working with Bradford Construction again and highly recommend them."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
