"I have a two-story commercial building located in a downtown business district. We had a bad storm come through and the wind ripped part of the building down on two different sides. The damage was at the very top of the building which was about thirty feet above the sidewalk. Looking up at the building, you could see the exposed bricks, some of which were obviously loose. It wasn’t long before the city building inspector paid a visit and told me that the building was a safety hazard and had to be fixed immediately. I called Elite Seamless Gutters and talked to John. He came out the very next day to look at the building and even met with the building inspector. They got to work and had the job done in less than two days. The building inspector contacted me afterwards and said that the building was up to code and we were good to go. The whole process was simple and stress free. "Jeff Ritter, Machesney Park, IL claims to be the owner of Raintree Seamless Gutters, yet I hear the name Steve Lizer associated here, also? Not sure. Anyhow about 6 years ago, Ritter and his sons put up all new gutters for me, late summer of 2016. In the spring, one of the corners was POURING water, during a bad rainstorm. The gutters were 6 months old. Have had problems with LEAKING gutters ever since. I call him back every year to come and fix them. He claims "he doesn't know why" they keep leaking? Really? Then, maybe you should be in another trade, because I bought new gutters so they wouldn't leak anymore! A couple years, he never showed up to fix them, because it rained too much, then got cold, etc. so many excuses. I have records of text messages to him, as well as emails, with videos showing the water leaking from several of the corners. He did come and replace the 6 corners in 2019, but guess what? They STILL leak! I called him in 2021 to come fix and no response, ever! I went up there myself with gutter goop to try and fix this ridiculous problem: leaking gutters! Don't waste your time and/or money hiring this guy."

"I purchased a newly constructed home in late 2019. This company installed the cedar shake roof for this house. We were unaware of any roof problem until we decided to change our home insurance carrier. The new insurance carrier sent a field rep out and checked on the home's exterior. The report came back and stated "lots of lifting and curling" of the cedar shakes. I contacted the company; they quickly sent out a consultant to check on the problem, which I later found out was the new work order, not for the warrant. The consultant indicated nothing was wrong with their installation and mentioned the materials were donated to the house of the builder, implying likely problems with the quality of the cedar shakes. He got me a quote of $ 1.5-1.7K to fix the problem. Remember this house/roof is only 4 years old; I learned the warrant of the lowest grade of cedar shakes is 15-20 years. I decided to get a second and third opinion about the roof problem. The consensus from these two roofers was that "there are exposed nails, there are shakes not nailed to the roof, there are three areas with missing cedar shakes". They even found the missing shakes on the ground around my house. Long story short, there are problems with the quality and craftsmanship of the installation for the minimum. I reached back to the company with the inspection conclusions, but I have never heard back from the company. Thus, be extra careful with this company when you consider your roofing repair/replacement."
