While searching Google for basement remodeling services, we found two options. One was a company specializing solely in basement remodeling, but after scheduling a consultation, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit—every little detail came with an added cost, and there were too many unexpected “oh, by the way” expenses. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well.
