While searching Google for basement remodeling services, we found two options. One was a company specializing solely in basement remodeling, but after scheduling a consultation, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit—every little detail came with an added cost, and there were too many unexpected “oh, by the way” expenses. Scott would send a simple notification when a payment was due, but work continued without delay—even before payments were received. There was never any pressure, just a well-managed and trustworthy process. Fortunately, we had the funds and stayed on schedule with our payments. Prior to the basement project, we had already taken on a few other home improvements, including painting the interior and closing off a wall to add closet space. We hired another company for that work, but in hindsight, I wish we had discovered American Home Remodeling sooner to handle those projects as well.
