In fact the bear the came two times and the team came twice in one week to take care of the issue. To avoid upheavals or other issues, bury your fence post so the depth exceeds the frost line, or about one-third to one-half of the aboveground height of your post. Check with your local code requirements to determine the right depth for your home since it varies by location.
