"Scam company. We have a contract for a porch for nearly $90,000. Weâ ve paid over $45,000 for material and services and only have a $4,000 strip of concrete. They have ghosted us for over three weeks and now will not return any calls. The project was supposed to be well underway by now. When I looked up our property for permit information so I can file a complaint against the contractor license, they havenâ t even filed a permit like they were supposed to. This is a red flag when companies do not file proper permits. Generally, that means they are not licensed to do the work. The company is a nightmare to work with and is not legitimate. They came recommended through Angi and I have no idea how. The companyâ s main branch does not answer phones, nor do they call you back. Avoid this con artist company at all costs or you will be out $10,000â s. Next step is legal action. Update 1: Pikes Peak Regional Building Department confirmed they did not file for a permit and are required to do so before they touch my house. Stop Work Order will be issued against my residence now. Update 2: After some back-and-forth conversations and pleas, we agreed to give them a second chance. Big mistake. After broken promises of doing better, they still can't keep a schedule or coordinate when they will show up. They've been onsite once within a two-week period. All I have now is a beam bolted to my wall. Thier original plan that they were going to build from was denied by the building department; no surprise there. It is a daily game of phone calls and excuses about why they can't show up. Additionally, they leave nails and cigarette butts all over my yard and patio. I honestly think they ran out of money and can't finish my deck. Update 3: Still no deck, no approved permit after months of delays. I have holes in my backyard and material all over my back yard, side yard and front driveway. PPRBC notified of illegal work started without a permit. Update 4: Finally got an approved permit, but no material. They haven't paid their subs and now the builders walked off the job. Police report filed with El Paso County for theft and complaint filed with PPRBD for starting work on our house without a permit."

"If you're looking for pros who will do outstanding work using high quality materials, then Baker Building Solutions is definitely worth talking to. They redid my family room, putting in a large new fireplace with a beautiful stone surround, walnut shelving with lighting, and custom walnut cabinets. They replaced the top of a pony wall separating the family room and the kitchen with a walnut bar top. Very durable and waterproof. Finally, the replaced my stair railings, banisters, and associated trim. Again with walnut. The result is spectacular and catches the eye of all who have seen it."

"I cannot begin to thank Josh enough for the work he did on my home regarding my upstairs bathroom. Everytime we took a shower in the bathroom the water would leak and we were super concerned because the water was starting to drip from out light fixtures and started creating pockets and puckering.on our hallway walls it was seapimg between the wall and the paint. We were super concerned as we.tried having another handyman and a plumber to help.us diagnose the problem. Both recommended a complete overhaul of the bathroom and charged an outrageous price that we couldn't possibly afford at the time. Luckily for us Josh reached back to us when we initially started looking for a handyman. Josh told us he had a lot of experience regarding these matters and based on pictures of his previous work we felt very confident he could help us. We were already under the impression we would have to redo our tub and he offered a reasonable price if that was the case, however Josh really secured our confidence when he told us it may not even be necessary. He was really methodical and did his best to not to demolish the wall to get access to the pipes of the tub and shower. Fortunarely he localized the issue to a leak from our pipes and saved us thousands of dollars that we thought we would have to spend. It seemed like hard work, but he had it fixed by the next day and we haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend Josh regarding any work on your bathroom. If I wasnt selling my house I would have him re-do the whole bathroom based on his previous work and the quality job he did for our bathroom. I can't thank him enough!"
