The original duct work in our house was extremely undersized, over working our unit and not creating good airflow to reach the third floor of our town home. I really appreciated his kindness and patience with me with all my questions. Unique was able to get us scheduled within a week or finalizing the contract, just in time in end of April when the first heat wave hit. It has been almost two months now since Henry and Matt installed our new HVAC system (they both were friendly and did an excellent job) and we are truly enjoying it. With a new baby in the house, it is a relief to have this new unit and ability to cool down our house quickly and efficiently. I know it is a lot interviewing and getting quotes from different HVAC companies - it is a big investment. This company truly stood out for us and were able to work with our budget and our needs for our home. They were the only company who proposed how we could add an additional vent to allow more airflow, and to redo the duct work to the proper sizing for our house and up to code. "Have you seen the commercial on morning TV showing a child throwing plastic toy figures - super heroes - down a toilet and flushing with glee. Horrific - based on the commercial I would never hire them. The commercial is irresponsible - showing children how to misbehave to benefit their business."

"I had a very negative and unprofessional experience with Horizon Services. I signed a contract with them. When it was time to service my AC unit, they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it, only to cancel and reschedule it again, and yet they did it again! They cancelled my AC maintenance appointment three times over nearly a month period. The scheduler kept cancelling the appointment a few minutes before the appointment time, which was very inconvenient for me because I had to be home every time they scheduled. After the third cancellation, I asked the scheduler to escalate the case to a supervisor which he told me he did. But the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called again and escalated again, still the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called at least twice after that and was told that my case was already escalated to a female manager, but still she never called me back. All I got from the Horizon phone operators was repeated empty promises that “someone will call you back in 12 hours, etc.” But they never called back to commit to either providing the AC maintenance service or cancelling my contract and refunding my money in full. What makes matters worse is that none of the Horizon Services phone operators who answered my repeated calls was able to transfer me to a manager to speak with in real time. These operators said that they could only “email the senior manager or the concern department”. What a disappointment, and what a lousy excuse to ignore a contracted customer. I truly regret hiring Horizon Service and signing a contract with them and I will never recommend them to anyone. The failure by Horizon Services to provide the AC maintenance per the contractual agreement (it’s now mid-summer and my aging AC unit was not serviced to date) and the fact that their customer service manager never bothered to respond to my repeated phone complaints speak volumes about the unprofessional way they have treated me."
