"Our experience with Southern Tree Services relates entirely to our communication with and the work accomplished by Bryce Perry and his team. We are out-of-state owners of an acre of land in Crystal River that was untouched and heavily forested. Bryce conducted an onsite visit followed discussions about our requirements over the phone. Without a concept of what we want to do with the land, we simply wanted to clear some of the forest for access from the road without removing any major trees. Without detailed specificity we relied on Bryce’s judgement for what and where to remove the trees. Trust was involved because we could only arrive late to write a check on the same day as the work being done with Bryce depending on us to show up and us relying on him to get the work done. We arrived late afternoon to be pleasantly surprised by a tremendous clearing swinging around in an arc from one street to the street running perpendicular providing a wonderful and private open space essentially hidden from street view. Several trees had to be cut down into pieces using chain saws and the roots cleared using a backhoe and tractors. We arrived as the fourth and last truck was filled and hauled away. By the end of the day we were dazzled by the appeal of the land completely accomplished by Bryce and his team with essentially no specific direction from us."

"Theses guys were awesome! I met with Cody who owns this business with his brother. The job include taking down 1 tree and grinding 3 large stumps and grading around a recently erected steel storage building and some road base fill to create a parking area. We originally figured it would be a 2 day job, but they got it all done in one day. They had a large skid steer loader with a grapple and 2 tractors and 4-5 guys working on it. It was amazing. They also removed a lot of brush and debris from the site and prepped an area for a driveway entry apron next to the street. The job was great and the price was very reasonable."

My tree was a massive live oak approximately 150 years old, and they were extremely efficient at removing the entire tree and base without any complications or damage to nearby shed or fence. "Jared squeezed me in when he had 4-5 hour window, as I was looking for a quick install before my house painting. His team arrived on time and I went over everything with Cody. He explained everything they would be doing. They cleared all weeds, leveled where needed and then installed ground covering. Covering was put around and between all all shrubs, as well as the open areas in front of them. Then proceeded to install 8 cubic yards of 1 1/2" tan river rock. It was a large job and they did an excellent job. They didn't make a mess and cleaned up after finishing the job. Highly recommended, as it's nice to work with people that care how they do their job.
