His knowledge and sincerity were apparent from our first conversation. Vinnie offered to inspect our roof over the weekend and arrived promptly on Saturday morning as promised. Not only did he identify the issues, but he went above and beyond by calling later that same day to offer completion by Sunday! Talk about exceeding expectations. The entire project was completed in just 4 hours. His team fixed the buckling shingles, replaced the warped decking underneath, flash sealed our skylights, and even repaired a cracked chimney. American Remodeling is a family-owned and operated company that offers windows, roofing, siding, bathrooms, kitchens, basements and sunrooms. We are one of the few Platinum Preferred roofing contractors by Owens Corning in PA. We offer 100% financing to fit most budgets.
"We sadly signed up for a free estimate. Jon came on 8/16 and we were told by Jon a few times all we had to do was call in within 3 days and get our deposit back. I asked twice and my husband asked once he said "all we have to do is call and we will get our $100 back" Clearly not true. I called on the 3rd day 8/19 and spoke with a lady, i thought her name was gabby, but apparently they lied giving me that name she doesnt work there. I have no idea what her name was sadly I did not record the call. Was told my papers weren't put in it was no issue, my check would be mailed on Monday the next business day. Well a week later I get a call from financing stating they need signatures. Confused I was like we canceled and you all were supposedly mailing my check. Well low and behold apparently you can't cancel over the phone. So Jon lied multiple times and "gabby" lied when I called in. They cashed out check and our free estimate cost us $100. I was told the VP would call us back on 8/26. He finally called us on 8/29. We missed the call but called right back. Have tried calling today 8/30. When I called to cancel the service it was within my time period! Of course now it's out. Lesson learned! Don't trust them! When I called on 8/19 at 3:24pm the call lasted under 2 minutes, which it was very quick. Told them I needed to cancel an epoxy job, transferred me to some girl, I told her jon said all I had to do was call. she said up and went on about the papers not being filed yet and since it was friday and late the check wouldn't be mailed till monday. Never again."
