"We just finished our kitchen remodel two days ago and I cannot say enough good things about Avi and his workers. Avi is a total pleasure to deal with: he spent time with us as we determined what we needed/wanted; gave us a fair estimate and timetable; stayed in close communication throughout the project; and finished ahead of schedule and on budget. It doesn't get any better than that. But it does! Avi is also a lovely person with whom to work -- very even-tempered and calm, bringing integrity to his work, and always willing to look for a beautiful solution. Additionally, those who work with Avi are attentive and helpful. We had a problem fitting the insta-hot water dispenser under the sink, because we'd also gotten a large garbage disposal. With good humor and great ideas, we worked with the plumber to make it fit well. We also wanted under-counter lighting and I knew my husband would want a dimmer, even though that is an unusual request. No problem! It is done and we love it. I want to mention that while the remodel was in progress my husband became hospitalized, adding a great deal of stress to my life. Coincidentally, Avi was dealing with a loved one being hospitalized at the same time. Still he was able to keep our project going; to deal compassionately with my situation; and employ thoughtful, positive workers -- all while enduring personal difficulties of his own. We are thrilled with the kitchen and we had an exceptional experience (having had other remodeling projects that turned into nightmares!). "I wish I never hired them. I am now two years into a project they told me would be 6 months total but they were contracting for 12 months "just in case". This was in June 2022. As I write this on May 30, 2024, they continue to delay. Have no control over their subcontractors and continually say "it is out of their control". I have been told multiple times that some of their subcontractors "handle multi-million dollar places" so "they doubt they will ever meet with you." They have made enemies with our architect, engineers, and even pissed off city inspectors with their attitude. But of course, it was always the other person's fault. The latest example is over the cabinets. Rani said on April 4th that they would be "installed next week". We are now on May 30th and only a portion of cabinets are done. They then tried to invoice us for the completion. It has been excuse after excuse. Install was finally supposed to happen Tuesday. They told us Tuesday morning that the cabinet guy's shop was broken into so therefore they can't come this week either... but won't provide when they can come. Any time we try to get answers they say "it's out of their control". They have no accountability for anything. This morning, the shower door guy "got confused" and went to another job in Hollywood and don't know when he will be able to install. It's never-ending. What they truly care about is easy flips and things they can post on their instagram. Seriously, don't work with them. It has been a nightmare. They continue to blow past every timeline and deadline they give you as "approximate" even when you agree to hard dates (with built in cushion time for their numerous mistakes and oversights). Why write a bad review? Is an act of desperation at this point because I just want them to get out of my house and complete the promised work."

"My husband and I had a ton of work done by Conber Construction and we couldnâ t have asked for a better experience. The scope of the project includes roof, windows, electrical work, exterior wall, tankless water heater, building a new gate, among other things. The project took a few months and it went smoothly the whole way through. Quality of work - Weâ re picky people. Between my husband and I, we checked everything with a fine tooth comb. And at the end of it, even WE were delighted with what we saw. Cesar does everything he can to make sure you're getting what you want. And he delivers. This was apparent from the very beginning. Heâ s got the experience and know-how to achieve what the customer wants, and he really cares that youâ re satisfied with the work. Price - Their quote was very reasonable & fair, and they stayed on budget. We definitely feel we got our money's worth. Strong communication - Customer service is very important to me. Iâ m happy to say, these folks are very responsive. I could reach out at any time with questions or comments and felt very supported throughout the whole process. Even at the very end (when some contractors can peter out), Conber was with us the whole way through. You just donâ t see this kind of customer service anymore. Ideas - When we were stuck and looking for ideas, Cesar and Fabiola were always so helpful. Between Cesar sharing what he has done on other projects, and Fabiola searching for ideas & possibilities online, we got great guidance from them. Construction crew - All their workers were very nice and & respectable. I felt very safe with this team in and out of our house (even during covid!). Very clean, neat & tidy. This is important to keep neighbors happy. Flexibility - We added projects along the way and they were very accommodating. Overall - Our entire experience went so well! The house has been transformed and weâ re constantly getting compliments from the neighbors and friends as they come over! We plan on doing more work on the inside of the house next year and we will, for certain, be reaching out to Conber Construction. Highly, highly recommended."
