"The system was installed so that the pipes were pitched away from the sump, the pipe from the sump outside leaked back into the basement, and the exterior drain wasnt dug to grade so water backed up towards the house. When contacted about the issue, dryzone sent out a tech who confirmed every issue. The company then refused to fix anything without a second opinion. A month after I filed a chargeback, the GM called to "apologize", and made it sound like he wouldnt contest the chargeback, but offered no remedy to the situation. He then contested the chargeback and lied on the chargeback rebuttal. Eventually they settled for a partial refund. Terrible company, dont recommend."

"Thomas and Angelo (his crewman) were fantastic. (He had more crew, but Angelo was the only one whose name I knew.) They correctly diagnosed the problem (foundation cracks), sealed everything, installed a new sump pump and redid the flooring. They kept me informed every step of the way and started work within a day or two of hiring. The basement has remained dry as a bone ever since. One thing to note: They do require payment quickly (not all upfront but soon) and do not take credit cards."

Once I had line of sight on project completion, I went back to schedule the job and these aholes Ray Varela and Bob Guarino jacked up my price by 5K (within 90 days). This was after several attempts to bait and switch on several quotes...adding here, removing there...trying to inflate the price decrease the scope. I have several quotes documented and will provide evidence to anyone who asks to prove my point...of course these scumbags will dispute my story...but I own the facts. Too many contractor options avail...STAY AWAY FROM SSG!!"
