"On December 4th the wind blew my rubber flat roof off the addition to my home. Phil, the owner, was at my house the next morning before I left for work to look at the damage. His crew came a couple hours later to tarp it until they could replace it. Saturday morning they were there early and finished it. Phil kept in communication with me the entire time explaining everything they were doing. I was completely freaked out when it happened and he really calmed me down. I will be using them again for the main house and have already told a friend about them. Phil is a super friendly guy and you could tell he cares about his clients. If you are looking for roof repair. This is the guy to do it. His pricing was very reasonable considering this was an emergency,"

In 1986 John Gallagher had one goal – to provide top quality exterior remodeling products and workmanship at a reasonable price along with incredible service before and after the job. Exterior Designers Inc started with and maintains that philosophy and mission.
"I have had the pleasure of working with John Gallagher, owner, of Exterior Designers, Inc. (EDI) several time over the past twenty years. I first met John as a young new homeowner. We needed a roof and also were in the market to replace the outdated aluminum siding. I always begin a job with at least three estimates, and we were working within a budget. EDI was not the least expensive but was the only company whose owner (John) came out and explained what was needed and what was not. While the other estimates were eager to make the most of our service call, John suggested getting a layer placed over the original roof at a less expensive cost to us. He also advised it would probably last about seven to ten years. Additionally, while other contractors tried selling us high end siding (cedar), John explained that while cedar would look nice, it comes with a lot of maintenance and in reality, the neighborhood tended towards vinyl. Again, he could have talked us into a more expensive choice, especially since my taste and budget is not always in sync, however, he did not. He steered us towards the more economical choice. Our layover roof lasted 19 years without even one leak! That’s great craftmanship. And my siding looks as new as it did when we first had it applied. This summer when I decided to replace the roof in its entirety, I called upon John to do the job. Again, he came out and explained all the options. He does not attempt to sell the best product as many contractors do. Rather, he listened to what I wanted and steered me towards a mid-range quality roof with the architectural shingles I desired, while working within my budget. Roof sealant applications FAQs
Flat roofs should generally be recoated every three to five years, depending on the climate. Since they don’t have a slope to help them avoid rain and sunlight, they wear out more quickly than a pitched roof.
If you have an EPDM rubber roof, it likely resists weather damage already and shouldn’t ever need to be recoated. Many roof coatings don’t work on EPDM roofs either, so make sure to double-check with the manufacturer before applying any. If your EPDM roof starts to leak, you’ll usually have to apply a new layer instead of resealing it.
Most homeowners insurance policies only cover roof damage caused by single, specific events, such as fires, stormy weather, or falling trees. Homeowners insurance usually doesn’t cover roof coating or sealing since these are routine repair jobs that come with normal wear and tear.
