Leo was super knowledgeable and explained how the process would go. The two technicians Devin/James were professional and communicated well. Their price was very competitive compared to the quotes we got from multiple competitors and we were able to get a more efficient system. The only issue we had was the blower was putting off way more force than we wanted, the technicians fixed this but it required us to get a new thermostat which Angi scheduled Leo to come in and install free of charge. "He started job with 2 days per week with 1 helper or alone. Had 4 different helpers, 3 had little to no experience. We agreed on a parts and labor agreement with more work possible after 2 bedrms and garage finished. My wife listened to and seen the agreement. The detailed price quote was photographed and agreed on verbily and with me signing a check for 2750 and him signing and cashing in his name. The full price for the agreed on work was 4200 I have before and after photos of only 25% of job done when he quit before Thansgiving. He was very disrespectful and rude and even threated assault the day he quit. We are frightened of his manner, tone, and words. We only want our money back covering work not done. We want this to go away and not have anyone go thru what we did. We are offering to have him bay us back 1350 out of the 2750 he was already paid of the 4200 total current project quote."

"Requested TV mounted on the wall. Decided I didn't want drywall cut into chose just the mounting. Price was similar to other quotes, but he had more reviews so I chose them. I originally showed him the mount at the estimate. Then he arrived for the scheduled install. He stated I should get a different mount because the one I had was big. I agrred assuming he knew best.He went and purchased a new mount and came back fir install. They attempted to mount the mount straight into the DRY WALL. I came out to look when they were done, and moved the mount to see it and the mount basically pulled from the wall. So they had to reinstall everything on the stud, like should have been done. Now I had holes in dry wall. Then they didn't look at the directions for the mount. Pieces were installed incorrectly, the tilt mechanism wasn't put together correctly, they had to come back, fill the holes, and reinstall the mount. They did it wrong again before I corrected them. They still never read the actual mount directions. Still have holes where they searched for studs and marks on the wall. I wish I went with someone else."

"Homeowner here... I can't properly explain how absolutely thrilled we are with the work that Bronson and the Brawny Builders have done with our lake cottage. Last summer, we started with a plan to simply paint the exterior. But the project slowly unfolded into something much larger. Bronson is not just a general contractor - he became a close and trusted partner throughout the entire project. He is full of creative and thoughtful ideas that enhanced the project at every step. He provided us with constant and detailed communication. His team worked with us to make sure that every detail was right. Here are a couple of examples where Bronson was able to improve the design or save cost: ** We did not want to expand the footprint of the house and add that cost, but we could not figure out how to layout everything we wanted. Bronson cleverly reused an old set of concrete stairs as the foundation for a washer/dryer stack. It was a great solution that worked out fantastic. ** We had wanted to add a half bath for years, but Bronson figured out a way to add a FULL bath. In addition, the new bathroom was connected (jack and jill style) to the main bedroom to create a master suite. It only cost one additional door, but it is now WAY beyond what we imagined. ** We originally wanted to build a deck on the front of the house, but Bronson helped to create a design for a covered porch with vaulted ceilings and a clever lower surround that blended with the lake environment. ** We found a number of structural issues with the old house during demolition. Bronson developed very clever and cost-effective ways to resolve floor, wall and joist issues. ** During each phase of the construction, Bronson developed thoughtful and clever touches. The lofted garage included an old second floor door for ventilation, and Bronson designed a design the new door that retained some of the prior feeling with a new and fresh update. ** We wanted to retain some of the historical feel to the interior, and Bronson cleverly retained some of the original paneling without feeling overwhelming. He framed the wall to make it a focal point without looking old. It is one of my favorite parts of the house. The lake cottage has been in our extended family for almost 50 years. It has been a great retreat for us, but it is now a proper home with personality and functionality to match. This project has literally transformed the house. We would highly recommend Bronson and Brawny Builders for any remodeling project. We were lucky to find them."
