"I have given him one star simply because he showed up. Joseph came here upon request because he was sent photos. Upon receiving the photos he provided an estimate. Once he arrived and realized the job did not require what he originally quoted, he said out of his mouth that the job was not worth what he originally quoted. He continued to push for the original estimate even after admitting that the job was not worth this. He mentioned feed his family which had nothing to do with repairing my bi-fold door. After negotiating and reminding him of what he just said about the repairs not being worth $320, we settled on $250. He put caulk on the hole in the door which is fine.. and he said he would be replacing the hardware on the door. No hardware was replaced. We get to the end where it’s time to pay. I asked him in text (I have proof) which payment method he would accept. He said he would accept discover card. He gets here and now he wants cash or zelle. He seemed as though he was slightly irritated that I had to go and withdraw the cash to send. If he had properly identified what I asked and what he responded to, he would’ve received the payment a lot sooner. Moral of this, be careful who you book for repairs. I will NOT be using this service again."

Pocket doors are more expensive than standard pre-hung doors. While a standard interior door installation costs around $150 to $200, installing a pocket door can run from $1,000 to $3,500, especially on existing walls. The higher price is due to extra work like demolition and modifications. For a pocket door, you need enough wall space for the door to slide into. A standard 32-inch-wide door requires about 66 inches of wall space in total—including the doorway and the pocket. The wall you install it in should be at least four inches deep to fit the door's thickness.
Installing a pocket door usually takes about six to 12 hours. If your project requires extra work like wall modifications or electrical adjustments, it might take a couple of days. The exact time depends on your home's layout, the type of door you’re installing, and the complexity of the project.
Removing a pocket door involves more than just taking down the door. You'll likely need to open up the wall to access the door mechanism, adjust any wiring or plumbing inside, and then rebuild the wall afterward. Costs can range from $1,000 to $3,200, depending on how much work is needed.
