He was infinitely patient and flexible with us. He interacted directly with our HOA and its contract engineer to find a solution to the HOA's unreasonable requirements for window installation. "For anyone looking to get waterproofing done in their home: I moved into my house about two years ago and would get floods in my basement during every storm. I tried to fix it myself environmentally but failed in my attempts. I then decided to finally fix the problem and get my basement waterproofed. Being relatively new to Delaware, I put in a request to get free estimates. I had a few companies come out to look at it and narrowed my choices down. I was down to Basement Waterproofing Specialists (BWS) and Basement Gurus. The difference was the representative from Basement Gurus had a more natural approach and took the time to ask numerous questions, as the other representatives asked little to no questions. The Basement Gurus representative suggested to fix internally AND externally, plus they even added a lateral system in my basement. No other company felt to even thought of a lateral systems or external drainage, or to even ask about it. I could not speak more highly of the representative and his team at Basement Gurus, they took the time to explain every step and the process before and during the installation to keep me involved with what was going on. The crew was extremely polite and respectful of my house, they were very efficient and they *did not play games* for lack of a better word. lol The very next day we had heavy rains, which I was excited to test out my waterproofing system! During and after it rained there was not even a single drop of water in my basement or laundry room. The representative even had his team remove and replace all of the studs that had become moldy and also put in new mold-resistant drywall. "Everyone in the company showed true professionalism. They wanted to make sure you knew what was going on in every step of removal and install. Nick who came to our home said we would get a lesson on roof install. I truly was given a lesson. Knowing the process and seeing the difference in the material being use. Nick made our decision very simple as to who was going to install our new roof. The installers did a fantastic job. If we had a question it was answered. If it concerned why install is done this way. The answer was always explained. Never got a reply of Oh I got to find out. The crew took the install very serious. Which made us feel great. You could say our new roof install was not just another job. It was to make us satisfied customers. Both Adam and Scott show up during install to make sure things were going as described and outlined by Nick. The focus for them was making sure we were happy and the work and cleanup was being done properly. I can tell you we were thrilled wit or new roof and on the spot asked for additional work could be added to the work order. "Excellent job! Replaced my whole roof and installed new gutters, the ones I won't have to get up on a ladder to Clean!! All in ONE DAY!! The crew was polite, friendly, Very hard working! They had a woman working with them she was wonderful, I was impressed! They worked from 7-6pm! They cleaned up after did a Beautiful job. "Fernando and his team were a pleasure to work with! We had 14 windows that needed to be installed, 4 custom panels built under the windows on the front of the house, and 8 dormers in our roof that we wanted to update per a custom design we had to replace the exisiting siding with Azek trim. Express Builders came out to take the necessary measurements and responded within 1 day to give us a quote with a very reasonable price. Throughout the time they were at our house, Fernando was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the materials and worked with us to make sure his team's work met the design we had provided. He worked closely with us to make sure the first dormer was right and then his team was able to replicate the same for the remaining 7 dormers. We absolutely love how much better the house looks after Express Builders helped us with the work we needed to be done! Definitely recommend them to others!"
