A previous flooring contractor installed white oak hardwood throughout our newly remodeled home. Unfortunately, both the sanding and staining were uneven and the new floors were a disaster. They would have to be redone. After reading reviews, I contacted Nicolas. He came to have a look at the end of his work day, and explained what needed to be done. He assured me that the floors could be repaired and would look amazing with correct sanding and staining. He provided a fair estimate and a time frame, and fit our job into his schedule. The finished floors do, indeed, look amazing. During the course of the job, Nicolas readily answered our questions, kept us updated on his progress, and was helpful in our search for a new grate for the floor vent. He also did an excellent job matching the red oak thresholds to the white oak floors. He started and finished as per his proposal, and cleaned all of the surfaces when the floors were finished. We were very pleased with his work and his attention to detail. We look forward to having him return to sand and stain our deck."
