"We were recommended to R J Kohn Construction by our neighbors, where we saw the quality of work that was done and heard the praises that were given. We didn't even consider any other company for our project. John stopped in to discuss my ideas and added some of his own. What started as a full kitchen remodel ended with a near whole house renovation. We initially met with John to renovate our kitchen. As the days went on, we were SO impressed with the work, I didn't want to let go! My list of projects grew which included painting, crown molding, carpet, new flooring in 2 rooms and the hall/foyer. After that, we added new flooring in the upstairs hall, changed the stair color, changed all the door hardware and completely renovating our main upstairs bathroom. We had planned to also do our master bath â ¦.then the pandemic hit and construction stopped. But 6 months later, John and Jonathan returned, and we enlarged our master bath and changed the paint and flooring in our master bedroom also adding a ceiling fan. There was nothing that I asked that wasn't completed. Becky was behind the scenes, but she always answered by questions and was more than accommodating during the renovation, and then again after when I was having some trouble with the warranties on our new appliances. I'm now ready to have John and Jonathan come back for a few more projects that I want to have completed. Their work is spectacular, their work ethic is something that I never expected and we never felt inconvenienced throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough about this company. John, Becky and Jonathan....thank you for everything."

"I hired Calco to replace my shower. On the final day of work, one of the installers collided with my car's front bumper in the company box truck. The sales manager, Matt, asked me to get an estimate for the repairs from a local body shop and send it to him. After sending him the estimate for repair, he ceased responding to my attempts to contact him. Several days later, I received a condescending and disrespectful phone call from one of the owners, Paul, who rudely informed me that they hadn't gotten back to me because "they were busy," demanded video evidence that the damage had been caused by a Calco employee, suggested that because I live in Lancaster City and park on the street that I should expect that my car will be damaged, and accused me of "threatening his business" when I stated my intention to leave honest reviews of my experience. I regret trusting that as my neighbors and members of my community they would take responsibility for damage caused by their employees."

"Ken and Eric did a fantastic job of installing the shower surround. They were very meticulous and neat. Made sure everything was done correctly. As far as a luxury bath as a company, the management (Joe project manager) does not care about their customers. They only care about getting their money. They have a three day cancellation contract that nobody reads in the three days and if something is wrong, there’s no way they’ll cancel it they just want their money. They also do not have plumbers that are qualified to move pipes that are in the way so you have to pay more to get that done. Also, in the sales pitch, the salesman (Phil Mahran) tells you that if they find anything behind the existing walls, they can fix it, which is not true they can’t fix plumbing in the way. The company wouldn’t even help pay for the extra plumbing work that cost me $1700."

"I hired Bella Brothers to build a new deck and a roof above the deck, where Zoning was required. The Architect drew up the plans and License & Inspection approved of the plans, unfortunately, Bella Brothers decided to change the plans, while building the roof!! They never completed the work and Iâ m left with a roof that L&I has written up for many â VIOLATIONS!â All of the wood that was to be covered with siding, soffit, and capping are all exposed, warped, cracked, and the ceiling of the roof is covered with black, white, and gray mold spores!! Iâ m now forced to have to sue Bella Brothers because the owner refuses to follow the requirements that L&I stipulated, where the roof has to be â torn down and rebuilt!!â The owner also had the audacity to attempt to extort the remaining balance owed , to be paid all up front, in order for him to complete the work, when thereâ s more work uncompleted than money owed because he has already been paid over 92.9% of the bill, and I only owe approx 7.1% of the remaining balance!! Please be very mindful if you choose to do business with this company!!"
