Attic Air has been in business since 1996 and specializes in insulating and ventilating residential homes. Attic-Air will come out free of charge to evaluate your home. Robert Carroll will be at every site to ensure a job well done and that you will be a satisfied customer. (No subcontractors used)
"It went really well. Robert Carroll really knows his stuff. Hire this guy. I say that without reservation of any kind. Don't look any further, believe me, I did. This is the smartest guy. He is honest, dependable, offers fair pricing, and his team can do all the work. I got several estimates from A+ rated insulation companies, but Robert was more knowledgeable than the other companies. He was the only one to point out that my soffits were not vented. Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! I asked some of the other A+ companies if they would vent the soffits and they all said they don't do that work, but they would be happy to add more insulation, which would not fix the problem if the attic was not vented."

The amount of leveling needed, as expected, was not conveyed by photo. He explained how he'd tackle the job and estimated timeframe. Lalo, the installer, did a fantastic job and without interruption. Walls cost between $100 and $350 to soundproof, depending on how much noise you need to keep out. To soundproof an existing wall without major construction, you have the option of adding rock wool or mineral wool, mass-loaded vinyl sheets, soundproof paint, acoustic panels or tiles, or sound-dampening curtains.
Soundproof design takes each area of the room into account. Sound comes in through doors, windows, floors, walls, and ceilings, but not all need protection for each project. Always begin by determining what level of soundproofing you need for your situation.
Smaller projects may only require thicker carpeting, sound-dampening curtains, and soundproof paint. Add layers of mass-loaded vinyl, panels, tiles, or wool to go a step further. In extreme cases, you can also opt for soundproof windows, doors, and additional insulation in the walls, ceiling, and floor.
