"The salesperson, Mike is quite courteous and helpful. He brought a moisture scanner that can scan behind the wall to see how damp it could be. It opens your eyes that some areas could be so damp. His sales pitch was quite successful. We were sold on the no-string-attached life time warranty. The warranty can be transferred to next owner. This warranty shows that the company is confident about its products and installation quality. Mike has quite a bit authority and helped us greatly in decision-making process. The installation was promised to start within 3 weeks. It started ahead of schedule, which was to our satisfaction. Dean and his crew (Jim and Leon) have done a great job to remodel our 25-yr old shower. The old tiled wall and base were torn out. Subfloor was replaced. New faucet was installed. All things were wrapped up within 8 hours. Floor and stairs were cleaned up as well. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the job and the professionalism of the crew . The material is a proprietary acrylic type of composite. Sentrel is the name. It has multiple layers of coatings, which makes it water resistant, mold resistant and low maintenance. The only downside is that it is kinda soft and can be easily dented. It's been over a month since the new shower was installed. So far so good. We've quoted from 4 shower remodeling companies. We are glad that we chose Five Star Bath Solutions of Macomb."

"We hired another company to install two new shut off valves in our basement. Our house is very old and actually has lead pipes coming into the house. The original plumber installed the valves and left without the water being turned back on. When it finally was turned on, there was a small leak in the compression fitting to the main line. So, we called Slades to come fix the problem. John was upfront about his service call pricing and hourly rate, and I found both to be completely reasonable. The best part of my interaction with Slades, however, is that I no longer have to worry about the problem. While my original plumber (a company that touted their decades of experience) had every excuse as to why the job could not be done properly, John simply solved the problem.
